My friend and I argued for a good hour.
My take on the movie:
Guy in pod lands on earth in a past time, but his fellow ship members landed there earlier due to the time warp. The apes on their ship evolved and began a civilization. He unites the humans and monkies and goes back foward in time to a place that seemed to be earth run by monkies?
My friend told me the clock in his pod was going backwards when he headed home in the end of the movie... now if he was going back in time how did the apes have this technology and knowledge of the general? And in the begining, my friend told me the man went foward in time (displayed by the clock in the pod)... where in the movie the apes were still using spears. It just dose not make since to me.
