Does anybody apart from me think it's weird how Johnny was there for Edward scissorhands then he disapeared only coming back for Chocolat and Sleepy Hollow (not to mention many wonderful independent films which weren't very recognized, you should see them they're so good) and he was so...gone for awhile finally we saw him in POTC and OUATIM. He's going to do Willy Wonka and POTC2 which i want to be in SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad. does anybody know wut happened between those few years? besides falling in love and having to kids then moving to France.

he did a lot more movies in that time period....

for the depp fix catch him in once upon a time in mexico...um with antonio anyway i'm not sure what he did...prehaps more independent films? hummmm gosh sorry so not helpful....

Our beloved Johnny lives in a small villiage in France now with his French pop singer wife and two children. He reappeared due to some anti-american comments he made and then retracted. He decided to move to France because he wants his children to experience a normal small-town life, without having to deal with the pressure put on them for having a famous dad. It's a big decision, but a sweet one, it just goes to show that even "edward scissorhands" would do anything for his kids. lol

i read that someone claim that just about every movie jhonny depp appeared in after edward sciossor hands were indepenant movies. this is not true. Infact alot of his movies diddnt do as well as they were anticipated. Im not saying that they were bad because some of them are my fav movies, just that they werent independant films. They were marketed months before release and were expected to do very well, when indeed they diddnt. such as

another thing. America has produced the best movies in entertainment history. America is the best place to go to see a decent movie. Every other country sets there movie making standards on american entertainment. the reason america doesnt show very many foriegn films is because they are sorry attempts at movie making. Actually......it is not considered pathetic in America for a grown man to spend an hour a day on the internet. That is why I pay for it....so I can use it. I happen to be a movie buff so I spend the hour a day I'm waiting on my wife to get off work on the net checking out KMC. If it is considered pathetic in France....okay, different culture I guess.

I'm actually not overwieght. I know the perception of Americans all being obese because we have the highest percentage of fat people in the world. As to your original post........maybe you should have been a bit more clear on what you were looking for. You had already stated that you knew about his personal life (his kids, wife, moving to France) and the question asked was what he had been doing between Edward Scissorhands and POTC, which are movies. I believe everybody else in this forum also assumed you wanted to know what movies he had done in that time.
