Just curious what everyone thought about this movie. Its about Jack the ripper, i rented it today, i thought it was pretty good.

I didn't care much for it, thought it was really boring. Although it was cool to see the reference to the elephant man in it.

It was kind of slow, it just interested me, thats what kept me into it.

Why the does Johnny Depp die in that movie?

It was a good movie, accurate facts, except the real Constable didn't die like that. Good story line and very effective imagry, and great performance by Johnny Depp.

Because Depp has a following and they just make him die of a drug overdose! They were just afraid that if they made him live they would have to make some impossible sequal. Also are you into porn? Lizzy Borden is involved in porn... and pro wrestling with XPW...

lol! Sorry... no Im not a pervert I just watch a LOT of wrestling when I am not watching horror films and knew about her from wrestling. Scary thing is she doesn't look like a porno star... But back to the movie do you understand why I thought it was stupid Depp died in the end?

I rented this film ages after it came out and only because it was slim pickings at the vid shop. I was pleasantly suprised and quite enjoyed it, I was expecting a Hollywood spin on the Rippers tale and so never bothered going to see it at the cinema, but it kinda delivered.

Maybe my expeectations were a lot to do with it, but I'd recommend it to other horror fans.
