"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" is director Kevin Smith's latest film. It certailny has ties to its previous films, although it's not really a sequel.

Smith brings back most, if not all of his characters from previous films. But the story revovles around Jay and Silent Bob. They discover on the internet that cartoon characters based on them is about to be made into a movie. So they set out across America to Holywood to stop it. Of course, they have problems along the way.

This film certainly takes advantage of it's "R" rating. I havn't heard so many vulgar words since "Pulp Fiction". The humor of the film is often toilet based, and some will not find it funny. But other's certainly will.

The number of cameos is astounding. Everyone from Mark Hamil to George Carlin. It's fun to see everyone come together.

All in all, the film, I think was supposed to be fun. And it certainly was. If you've never seen a Kevin Smith film, this probably isn't the first one you should see. And this isn't a movie you should go see with your grandmother.

(Three stars out of Four)
