Does anyone do sports here? I want to know if you are playing competition or something like that.
(I just want to say I play tabletennis and that my team is numbre one)

I don't play as in a team at school or anything, but I like to play tennis, volleyball, football, and synchronized swimming......I'm just joking about the last one

I play in a semi pro baseball league during the summer. Its basically a bunch of buddies and me keep on playing after high school. Its a lot of fun and I play 3rd base and catcher. Baseball is the best sport going. I also golf and play intramural basketball here at UK.

Golf is very difficult

I play golf in a very crude mannor. Most people don't like to play with me, because I swear A LOT and throw my clubs farther than I hit the ball!

Well I play roller hockey, I love ice hockey and rugby. I like fighting too.

i only play football, i am the rock on which our defence is built, in other words if i go past the halfway line blood goes to my head and i swing and miss the ball, then my mates beat me up.

I like it when the audience starts shouting 'KILL BART' 'KILL BART', and it applies both to Bart and Lisa! Genius writing!

What I never got about that episode is that Bart refuses to tak the shot and this is presented as neither of them winning.

But isn't that just the same result as Lisa saving the shot, so technically SHE won?

Bart and Lisa both decided that it wasn't important who won. They both played a great game, and decided to leave the game at a tie.

Friday we will (VMS D) play against Meerdaal, our closest oponment.
At the moment I'm standing togather with one from Meerdaal on place one on the 'best players list'. There will be NO showdown because he will not play

At the moment I'm doing DANCE, which involves some killer streches.

OMG! The trainer is out of his mind!
On Wednesday we only have a half-day of school, so I thought:
Hmmm, good, have a few hours off, let's phone
yeah right! training starts 2 hours early!
That means: 4 HOURS!

I'm not complaining because I'm very supple and flexible. It's just some of the other girls in my class start to scream as they havent done gymnastics or anything like that before involving really akward positions and streches.

Friday we have to play against the team that's also on number 1: Meerdaal.

The coach said that we weren't fit enough! well, we "visited" Leuven, wich is 7 kilometres away from there, so that made 14 kilometres then we got a break, and trained for 3 hours with some break in between.
We were all very very angry at him!!!!

I'm not surprised. I was you I'd tell that coach of yours to stick his championship up hie ass.

I've just had dance and the teacher was giving me a really hard time because my group couldnt get the moves together because I forgot the music this morning.

won: 3 lost 1

As you can see, I lost one match that could decided it all! With that one match won we would have got 8-8 and got a point!
I was too tired after the first two games (they both are 3 places above me, meaning that even in a higher competition they could go for champion...) but I won, giving everything I had, so I got too tired for the next game; still I played rather good...
And besides, there were also others that could have won more...
But I'm still number one in the individual competition, the number two is Van Eylen (from Meerdaal H) but he lost 2 games, so I'm leading with one...

got back from training to find out that we lost our first place of promotion to VMS E; this means that all the powers will be fixated on VSM E and not my team VMS D, just because we lost against Meerdaal

That's often how it is with coaches. They tend to have final line authority on these things.

so why do you need a captain then?

To lead the team. That doesn't mean you have final authority.

I think you should be able to well enough appreciate the importance of a captain without thinking he also has to have absolute, final line authority over everything.
