People wonder why they had Kid came up to Neo and gave him a spoon when ultimately, it didnt amount to anything. I think all it meant was that that was the last time Neo saw the Kid. What do u guys think? Do u think the Wachowskis just screwed up?

The spoon was simply a symbol for Neo to remind him what the kid from the Oracle's apartment living room told him from M1. I don't remember exactly what the kid said but i'm sure it was meant to help Neo focus his powers in the Matrix.

Mainly, it was to save his life. If you remember correctly, Bane was sneaking up on Neo to probably slit his throat. The "kid" runs up and screams, "NEO! NEO!" and then Bane is forced to tell him some bullshit about wishing him good luck. The kid then hands Neo the spoon sent by the baldy.
