kool are you in a band? i play guitar/work sequencers for a band called Lead Breakfast. i co-write some of the lyrics but they're not the best.

how long u been in the band for?

i write lyrics for the band im in ill will post some later on when i have time

um....bout 2 years. we toured about 2 months back and we played at a big gig in england a while back where we played live with Slayer which was kool.

you may not be in a band but your song has much better lyrics than most of our songs! seriously though there really good do you write for a band or is it just a hobby?

Hmmm Kamikaze....

I look at lyrics and they never really mean much to me without music. Reading yours I cant imagine it with music, they sound very much like poems. Very good poems though.

When you write them; do you actually write them with a instrument?

When I had time to write them I used to sit down with my acoustic guitar.... it can help you focus on more that you are writing for a song.

Do you ever actually write music for your words as well?

Lyrics dont become lyrics without music; my opinion.... but still a good use of language within your text quite original and complex.

THe only persons who I could see with music are actually Metalheads....although they dont read as great lyrics I can see some very powerful heavy music behind them.

thanks our writing process depends on the song it self we are a band that lets the song write it self if that makes any sence to you sometimes it starts with just a lyric or a riff our sometimes my guitarist comes to me with a whole song and i write to what he allready has we almost have enough materal for a while albumand we are working on getting some studio time to record our demo when i get them done i will post if anyone wants a free copie
