Ushgarak
It must be infectious or something.
All hail Gundy!
(Hails Gundy)
So, are we invading Russia or what?
Texas
Now that's one babe I'm willing to bow down to

queeq
*opens closet door*
Have I got THE way to congratulate you...

finti
Lights candles and shots

queeq
How does one light a shot?

Gundark
Never question a bartender about shooting. Especially if you don't know if he has a blaster under the bar.
*peeks in closet* Ooooooo.....simply mahvalous.....I love what you've done with those ceiling fans and that fettucine and those handcuffs. Fascinating combination, darling.
Well thanks, Ush. Isn't it ironic that I was member of the day right after you ? And yes, I'd love to invade Russia. *scampers off to get M16 and mess kit* Can I be a sargeant ? YIPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
finti
shots are made up of alcohol and flameable because of that fact

.
Never heard of Sambuka or B-52?????
queeq
Russia? I've never been called THAT!

Raz
Gundy MotD! Yay!
BTW, I'm not choosing the Member of the Days! The world of choas and randomness is

Texas
When will I be member of the day?
A charming personality as my self, deserves to be recognized

Gundark
Charming to the last.
Good one, darling.

How did you know I have a thing for those fluffy Russian hats ?

Ushgarak
Hurry it up, guys, winter is coming...
finti
what afraid of a little snow?

Ushgarak
You ever tried to invade Russia in winter?
finti
Like we are not used to harsh winters
Ushgarak
But you can reasonably cross your country in a lifetime...
finti
You wanna give it a shot, South to North?
Ushgarak
I'd rather that than Russia West to East thankyou VERY much!
Ushgarak
I'm waiitng for my army to assemble.
Texas
Wont make it past the English Channel

Ushgarak
Certainly not without a boat.
Texas
that's ItNif's department

queeq
Remember, Ush, your room on Elba is prepared.
Ushgarak
He escaped from Elba. Corsica is where he was held.
queeq
Oh right. Sorry. Now get that hand back into your jacket, you mason you.

Ushgarak
I just have broken trouser braces, is all.
queeq
Tuck it in your shirt or your trousers then.

Ushgarak
This uniform is complicated...
Ushgarak
No... not as such...
queeq
I bet it would.

Ushgarak
Army trousers are a whole different thing from that era.
queeq
The ones with the rear exit? Or entry?
Dim
Maybe both...for troop moral?
Ushgarak
Stop that, it's getting silly...
queeq
It does get cold in Russia.

Dim
What? *looks innocent*
queeq
Those looks don't work on me.

Dim
Hehehehehe..
*really tries to look innocent*
I just want the boys to be happy and comfortable!
Ushgarak
Absolutely no bloody chance in those things.
Dim
I don't know...I bet they''d be feeling pretty good.
Ushgarak
No, they feel like something is slowly eating your legs.
Dim
Boy..you Brits really are freaky..

queeq
Maybe when they let the rats out, they'd feel better.
Ushgarak
Let's be clear here; Brits don't as a rule, wear Napoleonic era trousers.
Dim
Yeah, but how do you explain the gerbils?
queeq
Who said they were gerbils? Gerbils don't gnaw on legs.
Ushgarak
It;s the bit where they strangle your circulation and seem to want to slice your legs open that does it
queeq
I think we should start a foundation and a fundraiser to help the gerbils.
Ushgarak
Not that there are any.
queeq
THen I'll keep all the money myself and show Dimmy a good time in Italy.

Texas
Has anyone heard the story about Richard Geare and the gerbil?
queeq
No, but I did hear the one about Richard GERE and the gerbil.

finti
talking about Napoleon Bonaparte here.
You are right Ush he escaped from elba, but after the defeat at
waterloo he was exiled to the island of St. Helena where he died
on May 5, 1821. He was born Corsica ,not held there. Born in the city of Ajaccio he had the name of Napoleon Buonaparte until he changed the spelling of the name in 1796.
Ushgarak
Yeah. All Tex's fault.
Ushgarak
Yeah, he called me a Napoloen earlier and we have been running with the theme ever since
finti
by the way you said he(napoleon)was held at corsica, this is were he was born. He was held at St Helena
Ushgarak
So he was. What the heck is wrong with me lately? I can remember the people he met there, Cochrane;s attempt to resuce him foiled by his untinely death and his body being moved to Les Invalides in 1840 , but I get his birthplace miced up with his deathplace.
It;s the stress of being member of the day yesterday; got me all mixed up.
Ushgarak
I feel like Sam Seaborne did in West Wing when he mixed up Kajikstan and Kurdistan and said the Kurd's had nuclear weapons....
And I can say that safely because I know Finti is a fan.
finti
Yeah great call, but that is a mistake US politician could have done in real life though. Man I enjoy that show, I think Rob Low does a good role. Martin Sheen is outstanding...
Ushgarak
Best roles the two of them have ever had, I feel.
Texas
That show gives me a headache, all they do is walk around in circles and talk about politics
I'll stick to Jackass and Buffy

finti
Well watching west wing requreis an iq on 30+ under this you might end up with an headache. oh and someone needs to open the door for you as well
queeq
I just relied entirely on Ush's formerly impeccable knowledge.
I knew Napoleon was incarcerated twice on an island. Elba was the first and then St/ helena's where he died. I don't think I said Napoleon died on Elba.
finti
No you just said you are right to Ush when in fact he was wrong

queeq
Because he always says he is. Poor judgment, I know...

Gundark
Ush just has secret access to Raz's secret central information complex.
queeq
Which is then flawed also, obviously.

yerssot
there goes the neighbourhood

queeq
Yup, sounds like our only choice, finti.

Ushgarak
queeq- you made out that Elba was Napoleon's FINAL stop by saying that the closure of that thread was 'my Elba'. So you were wrong; I just got mixed up putting you right.
Gundark
I think its safe to say this thread is now WAY off topic.
Did I say that ?
D'oh !!!!
Ushgarak
Well, technically, no, because the whole Napoleon thing was started off by you replacing me as Member of the Day.
BTW, you are great, Gundy, MOTD or otherwise...
queeq
I didn't mean it was the end of you, I meant we'd store you there, thinking we got rid of you. But like with Napoleon, we were wrong.
Now, even you MUST love that save.

Ushgarak
Straws... grasping...
Ushgarak
That was just an OBSCURE response...
Now, excuse me but I am planning my Bavarian campaign.
queeq
Sure, whatever Napoleon. Don't forget your afternoon chess game with Julius Caesar.
Ushgarak
And Risk with George Patton?
queeq
No, Phinney won't be back until November.

Ushgarak
Don't smile TOO hard when you say that...
queeq
Why not. It was a good joke.
Gundark
Isn't there somebody here who absolutely loves Patton ? Is it Texas ?
Ushgarak
Duck, Gundy! Point going over your head!
If you smile too much, queeq, Phinney will think that you are happy he is not here...
finti
He knew that

<=== him
ToMacco
"hE'LL BE GONE TIL nOVEMBER, HE'LL BE GONE TILL nOVEMBER"- wYCLEFF

queeq
Looks like competition for finti. *starts making funeral preparations*
Dim
Better to make a snow man with.
