What do you think of the Victorias Secret fashion show? "they are so sexy its just like playboy but better" is not an opinion!

I have voted no. I don't think that any beaty pageant or show is putting down a woman. The reasons are two: anyone who would want to see a woman put down, can easily see so by merely pushing the right keyboard letters on the net. Secondly, is a man in a muscular show being put down? A man will look good (in general) through his masculinality (the ways are too many to enumerate here). A woman will look good through here feminity. Vick's secret is one of the ways for women to do that. You have all other kinds of activities, shows contests that women can show their talents. This is only one.

Ohh, and I forgot to mention I like to see woman's ass on tv.

i think its ok if you are comfortable with your body and want to show it the Vicky's Secret show is just celebrating feminity (in my opinion)

It's only demeaning if you wear the stuff and feel uncomfortable in it...just to please someone else. Vicky's is a store that means to make women feel sexy for themselves...not for someone else. It's not a 'leather and lace' type thing. Now, I'm sure men appreciate it (lol)...but basically, it's to make women feel feminine and sexy...not to turn men on.

Keep in mind....the same people who own Vicky's, own White Barn Candle Co. and Bath and Body Works. All of those things are aimed at pampering people...and they all go together toward the same goal. Relaxation and feeling good about yourself.

I think modeling in general is bad. It makes women feel like shit, and the jerks behind it all always get rid of hot people for being too fat, leading people to try to be even skinnier, ruining their bodies.

I'm always kept awake by the crying of Ms. Gisele Bundchen - the world's highest paid supermodel - as she wails about how shitty it is to be so rich, so idolised in your home country and so admired by men and women everywhere.

No company should force perfectly well proportioned models to lose weight if there's no need. Victoria's Secret don't do that.

What you have to understand, though, is that a lot of women are big fans of these models. The only women who generally don't seem to like it are fat chicks who excuse their unattractiveness by saying "Men like twigs". No offense, but it's just that obesity isn't attractive to a lot of men. That's just a fact. You're not bad for saying it.

The only men who say it's bad for women are the kind of dudes who want to seem sensitive to the female plight, and thus get laid more...or idiots. I'm willing to bet that nine times out of 10, if you told a girl that you hated the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show because it "degrades" women, she would look at you as if you were weird for THAT, more than she's look at you weird for liking it.

This is not really my actual perspective on the topic as it can go either way.

in general, i don't think modeling or being in porn is demeaning. however, there are cases in which i question why a female would subject herself to certain things. there are times when its obvious that the girls are not entirely comfortable or enjoying the acts that they are performing. allowing a guy to shove your head into a toilet as he has his way with you from behind just seems unsettling.

at the end of the day, i say it depends on how the girl views herself and what she's doing.
