You will all recall how Fudge felt compassion and distress for the Potters' tragedy in Prisoner of Azkaban? Umbridge, as far as we know, does not know any more on the matter than Fudge does and yet did not seem perturbed in the least that Harry was trying to communicate with Sirius in the fire! If Fudge had found Harry trying to communicate with (the wizard who Fudge thought to be) his parents murderer, in the fire he would have been shocked and distressed, maybe even realising that Black might not be guilty. Umbridge only seemed to see it as a convenient weapon with which to attack Potter.
Whatever is wrong with the despicable hag? Does Umbridge know Sirius to be innocent from, perhaps, Lucius Malfoy? The monster evidently does not care that it is strange that Harry was communicating with Black. Could Umbridge then be working for the Death Eaters or is this no more than further proof of Umbridge's psycopathy ?
