Clint Eastwood. He never fell into the lifestyle of the hollywood elite, he invented an entire genre of movies..the Action movie with Dirty Harry, a persona that will live in infamy. He along with Sergio Leone, totally redifined the way we watched westerns. They took the traditional good guy/bad guy roles and tossed them out the window and created a unique way to root for a guy who is bad, but just not as bad as his enemy. He is my hero.

Jean-Claude Van Damme. First off, he's a European middleweight Karate champion. Came to the US with only speaking French and Flemish. Came here to the USA with virtually nothing and no chance of getting a hollywood career. Took some chances, learned two more languages and got a break to star in what has become a cult classic martial arts movie, Bloodsport. He took the martial arts movies to a new level, they became very fun to watch. No longer did we have to suffer with the poor quality of kung fu films coming out of China, now we have Bloodsport and Kickboxer, Double Impact...etc...many people have tried to copy what Van Damme re-started, and never with the success or the flare that he brings to the screen. I gained a whole new level of respect for the man, after his latest movie In Hell. Why this didn't get a theatrical release is beyond me. Given that fact, that makes this the best DTV movie of the year. Say what you will about Van Damme, the man has faced hardships, he speaks 4 languages, and is an international action superstar. I respect him very much.

I have 2 favorite actors. The first one is Robbin Williams. I like him cause he's soooo funny !!! But I also like Tom Felton because he's a great actor and HE'S HOT!!!

Van Damme's ex-wife lied about all kinds of things, she also said Van Damme had AIDS at the time of the divorce, which was also proven to be a lie. What is this anyway, the gotcha game or something? I can't respect someone because some nimrod thinks he's gonna find a piece of dirt on every actor in Hollywood? Get a life, and if you're gonna quote me, then quote me in full, don't cut them up and paste together your own little versions of what I said, things get taken out of context that way, just like you are trying to do.

2nd I mention the autograph thing because you say Eastwood never fell into the Hollywood life style. Sounds Hollywood to me when an assistant writes your autograph...and I'm not talking when thousands ask for it...I'm talking about 1 person asking.Plus no matter how many ask he only writes as many as he wants (or would want).
3rd everybody knows Van Damme as a drug problem and attitude problem. A Martial arts champ should be able to control his temper. Wanna know why his movie went straight to video?!His style is old!

I don't see how having someone help you write autographs is being an elite hollywood type. The man is a living legend. He's not the glitzy glammy know it all, Im gonna make a political statement typical hollywood character. He's not a snob, have you read his biography? He's an average joe like me, and his family members and actors who work with him say the same thing. He has many flaws, especially when it comes to women, but I still respect him, he is my Hero and I shouldn't have to defend that.

He is an accomplished actor, and an accomplished martial artist and he's done more than you or I will ever do in our lifetime.

As for Van Damme there are a few movies I enjoyed with him. The rehab thing...well once you go into it in my point of view you lose a all my respect. By into it I mean drugs. But thats me.

orlando bloom no doubt

Orlando bloom was great in Lord of the rings but the rest of the movies he is in, he's not a very good actor. POTC is good but that's only cause Keira Knightley and Johnny eep were in it and Troy he wasn't very good in. All he is in his movies are the romantic ladies man which that I don't like. Not a great actor I don't think, I think everybody votes for him because of his looks.
