Who is maverick i've heard of him alot i've even read about him i know he's part of weapon x and that he's affiliated with wolverine but what are his powers what's his real name can someone give me a rundown on 'im?

his name is david north. he can absorb impact and release it as blasts. i know he lost this power once. not sure if he got it back though.
