So, may I just say that Texas Chainsaw the Original is based very HEAVILY on a true story. I don't know what everyone else is talking about. All this nonsense about how it wasn't. You see, TCM was based on Backfire's childhood memories. He'll tell you it's all loosely based on some story about some guy in Texas, but we really know the truth.
