Jedi Shmedi here, just wondering what everybody thinks the best video game magazine is.

as long as there not biased mags then they all share pretty much the same info. i've been reading game informer for about 5 years now, well recieving them not nessicarily reading them

Gamepro is too leniant with their scores, pretty much any decent game will get a 5 for fun factor, makes it pretty hard to distinguish what actually is a good game and what is a great game.

I like EGM because they only give 10's (their highest possible score) only too the best of the best, if a game gets a 10...or a 9 for that matter, you can bet dollars to doughnuts that it's a masterpiece in it's own right.

Nintendo Power.

game informer has a pretty decent rating system. I dont read these mags for scores anyway. Well actually i read them to see the games they gave great scores which i believe to be shit. I usually read for upcomming games though. I dont trust any ones opinions on movies,or games except my own. Except for maybe a couple people on the horror forum

CVG! Very few compare! And seeing as I only own a Gamecube and a Dreamcast it's nice to know what's going on with the other obviously over-commercialised and over-sold consoles that all the good games seem to come out on... *grrr*

gamepro is what i'm subscribed to though i like nintendo power too.

I still go with nintendo power, Im a nintendo fan all the way! (or at least until they screw up....)

GamePro and Game Informer are two of the worst gaming magazines on the market.

But I don't bother with magazines anymore. Everything you want to know is on the interweb.
