The more I think about it, the more I reolize that Qui-gon is a VERY important character.

He found Ani, the boy who would save the universe. And he trained Obi-wan, the most involved Jedi in the saga.

He's great. I see he gets a lot of flak on-line for being some sort of 'un-Jedi' like Jedi; I think that's rubbish. When I saw him he was EVERYTHING I imagined a prequel era Jedi Master to be- fair, kind, caring, intelligent, and bloody lethal.

Ok, he was a maverick, but they always make more interesting screen characters.

Don't be so presumptuous yerssot! not everyone hates maths! I hapen to love it. I really miss it now I don't do it anymore! It happened to be my best subject. Part of me wishes I had chosen to do a maths degree instead of medicine. Atleast I would be good at that. And once I had finished it I would never have t do an exam again but no I choose a shitty course where I have to be at uni for six years and then I never get to stop taking exams until I retire! God my life sucks!

I've never really understood why people would do a degree in Maths. Apart from mathematical research, how would it help you in your career?

well, if the batteries of your calculator are missing, you have to do it all by your self and then it might come on handy...

But then the same can be said for a vast number of degrees that people might take.

perhaps when you want to be a professor or you want to be a teacher...

How can you say that english is easy? I'm english myself and I dont understand it! and maths! well I'm not even going to go there!

we've had norwegian which I think went very well. we've had science which didn't go very well. on wednesday: math; not looking forward to it.

on friday: english, and lara: english is easy here, cause alle you have to do is write a text (short story, letter or someting) and do some grammar.

man school must have changed since I attended. English used to be more than grammer and a small essay. Well we had grammer, but we had an essay kind of equal to the ones we received in Norwegian term papers. No short stories for us. What school are you attending Mah?

I think it's communism, because they wanted a revolution, just like Marx said it would go, but the socialist made attempts to "delete" kapitalism"...

Comunisme is the closest to what Marx wanted, but he was a realist and understood that it was hard to achive this.

Remember, Marx was talking about inevitable political theory. He never really thought it was necessary for people to actually orchestrate a set communist revolution; he just thought it was an inevitable consequence in society.

The Russian Communists broke in two over their philosophical dispute on this. The Mensheviks (Majority) thought that all they needed to do was wait for the inevitability of political change, while the Bolsheviks (minority) where a small,er more vocal group who thought that the chnage could be forced.

Over time, the Bolshebiks unexpectedly became dominant, launched the revolution, and created the precursor to modern day Russia.

To be honest, I don't think any modern interpretation of Socialism or Communism is that close to what Marx envisioned. Modern day socialism embraces values he rejected while modern day communism did not develop the way he thought it would.

To be honest, though, I'd go for communism in the end, because it at least is TRYING to base itself on Marx. More's the pity.

we're finished too, now. first we had to write a formal letter( application for some sort of job). then read a text by george orwell and answer som questions, then write a pretty long text about one picture we chose out of many pictures of different things in the UK.

yeah, german is THE worst.

well, geo isn't that difficult (I was number three orso, after FM and another guy)
bio and religion is DEFINITLY not difficult and Dutch is soo easy!

But German... ... ... ok, I got it only one hour a week but I never learned for it (that means that I have to study for the two years now)

i studied it, and have one year left. we've got it for 4 hours a week
