Is Sidious Palparoo?

I believe Palpy is Sidious. But I was watching episode 1 yesterday and a spotted a couple of things to prove either side.

Sidious informs the Neimodians that he has "the Senate bogged-down in procedures". This means he must be involved in the senate somehow - Palpatine.

I also noticed that when Amidala tells Palpatine she will return to Naboo, he says it is too dangerous. But a bit later when his holograph is talking to the Neimodians, he seems surprised to hear the news "...its to aggressive" he says.

Is this just him being deceptive, hiding his identity or does GL have a surprise? Any ideas?

For one, it is quite possible that Palpy HAS the Senate bogged down in procedures. Maybe not directly but perhaps by ways of the Neimodians who are also in the Senate. I think he instructs them (as Sidious) how to do it and perhaps as a Senator from the rivalling planet makes it a tad easier for them. It shows the game Palpy plays.

As for the "surprise" he is referring to the army that is gathering, NOT about her returning to Naboo.

I see no discrepancies. Sorry.

I think her move of raising an army to face them on Naboo surprises Sidious. Or more or less queeqs answare which I dint read before NOW. well didnt write it for nothing then.embarrasment
