one word to describe it....WOW

mim cloudwater
in the books it doesnt give excacts but it kinda inplies that there are more then just 6000 calvary units that rohan has, it is estimated that the besieging army of orcs was a total of 70-80,000 , 10,000 which were blocking the road which rohan had to take to get to gondor, which they evaded by going through a tunnel by which some savage like humans had made. the defening army of gondor had a total about 1,000 calavery (300 within city and 700 that came from the surrounding settlements) and 20,000 infantry(17,000 inside and 3000 came from surrounding towns) rohan had at least 18,000 units, 3 times the number in the movie. your probly saying whoa you cant fit that many people into gondor, well the city from the movies no, but its supposed to be much bigger, have you seen drawings from other authers before the movies, bigger city, not huge, but bigger
