I think Feddy Vs Jason had some great ideas and i liked the fact you saw how freddy originally got burned and jason drowned but some bits of the movie were just piss poor. The part were freddy fires jason around like hes in a pinball machine is dumb and there part where the girl gives jason mouth to mouth makes the movie look like a cheesy comedy. In my opinion the movie did bring both franchises down a bit in terms of credibility and would only do the same for other horror movie franchises such as halloween and evil dead if they were thrown into the mix for a sequel. Definately one to rent not buy.

and yes Myers 1 i do make sence. Myers isn't that realistic. sure in the first movie he does seem realistic, he does normalish human things and in the end survives getting shot. sure, people survive getting shot. but in the second Friday the 13th Jason is also a plausably real character and even though he does get stabbed, its alot easier to survive a stabbing than to survive not only getting shot, but falling from a second story as well is a little bit more ho hum. yes, jason does turn into a unkillable beast from hell who will come back no matter what you throw at him, but in the beginging he was just as, if not more realistic than Myers.

i disagree. all throughout this topic (and forum really) its been said time and time again that Myers is a person who is just incredibly luck or has a bit of a knack at not dying/having someone else die instead of him. now also we have had said time and time again that Jason is practicly indestructable, Jason Vs Freddie shows this in how he is kicked the shite out of, impaled, burned, drowned, drugged, crushed, smashed around and had his head filled with freddies claws and yet still stands up and keeps on going. now sure, myers is faster (well i havn't seen him break into a run really) and sure he can do otehr things (like for example drive a car) but in the end it dosn't seem to matter how much he hits Jason he'd eventually get caught and jason would kill him, after all myers is human. i dont think it's right to say both Jason and Myers would have the same chance or dying when it been shown that jason can not only die but have his whole body destroyed and yet still come back. we are yet to see Myers actually die, then come back. what i think could be a cool movie is if jason got blown up or "killed" by myers and myers for one reason or another gets Jason in his body (ala Jason 9). then he could go after Freddie, iocorportaing all three of the beloved movie villans in one movie. dont

ok dont listen to stinkfist the begging of the movie starts off with freddy when he was human throwing a doll into a furnace and him telling about his past and how he was a great murder in springwood then he tell the story of how the parents took justucie into there own hands and kill him.. Then he goes on to talk about what he became after he got killed and they flashback to some of his past murders such as the veins coming out of the kids arms and legs in the hospital and throwing him off the balcony and the guy going into the bed and such. and they have some very cool ways of showing freddy they just shows his eyes when he is talking and how they r blood shot white and then they move to his mouth and show him talking with very shapr teeth.

then he tells how he has been forgotten in spring wood tells his whole plan about using jason how he found him in hell then it goes to the girl skinny dipping and i cant belive u havent seen it yet i fel sorry for u

oh yeah .. i forgot i thought that came after the scene i discribed .. i seen it once on the day it came out .. so stop making fun of me

After reading this entire thread, here is what I have to say.

1st of all, Michael Myers is the best horror movie villian out there. Jason and Freddy, they were conceived from the original ideas from John Carpenter.

2nd, Michael Myers does posses healing powers...Jaime Lee Curtis shot him in the eyes and he manages to see for the rest of the movies...after being shot, stabbed and burned..he keeps coming back, so put to rest that he doesn't heal.

3rd, the only reason there was no movie about Michael vs ??? is because Moustapha Akkad didn't want to cheese up the series. It was actually presented to him for a film with Pinhead, but he turned it down, and now after all the bad feed back from Freddy Vs. Jason...I doubt if it will ever be thought of again.

Lastly I do enjoy the Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series, ( As I just purchased the Freddy Vs. Jason dvd ) but I am here to tell ya that Michael would prevail over anyone he is matched up against.
