what are your favourite animes of all time?

mine are one kof :king of fighters (lol a bit obvious coz of one my name and two my banner lol but they need to make a tv series out of it >.< they got the comics but no show!!!)

Cardcaptors. Then Sailor Moon and Yu-Gi-Oh. But Cardcaptors is my fav. Li is the greatest character ever!

I prefer Rurouni Kenshin.

Full Metal Panic! or Neon Genesis Evangelion

I love Cowboy Bebop and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Card Captors was great too. But I am angry the WB cut out half the first season and the full first season of Card Captors and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

anyway, my favorite ones are inuyasha, rurouni kenshin (lovely sweet lord aoshi), and card captor sakura. i was very angry when they cut it from wb. and, when i try to buy the series, i can't find it. i only find the episodes in the 70s and 80s. but, it's tough to decide which i love most, cuz there's also escaflowne, fruits basket, cowboy bebop, and hellsing. at least, those are the ones in the running.

ah! it's so tough. okm, here's my top 5 list in order:
1. Inuyasha
2. Rurouni Kenshin
3. Card Captor Sakura
4. Fruits Basket
5. Escaflowne

hmmmm my favorite would probably be.... Trigun just because Vash is sooo cool. he reminds me of Jack Sparrow at some point, but thats just mee.

The funny thing is about Inuyasha's name is that Inu literally means female dog, and Yasha means demon.

Evangelion starts off really cool but it gets....um...weird?

Spirited Away is also good seeing as though it's both made from Hayao Miyazaki....

Actually, 'inu' doesn't mean female dog, it just means dog. But yes, his name does mean "Dog-demon".

My favorites are Sailormoon (though I can't stand to watch it dubbed), Cowboy Bebop, Cardcaptor Sakura, Evangelion, Trigun, and Escaflowne. Though I rarely watch anime dubbed anymore, I try to get it all in Japanese with subtitles (though I have some Sailormoon that isn't subtitled at all...and amazingly I understand a lot of it).

I'd have to disagree. Inu LITTERALLY if you want to be more accurate, it means female dog. But if you just want to say it means 'dog'. Then it's ok, because it DOES make more sense. Though but more accurately, Inu does mean female dog.

Okay, last night I pulled out my Japanese dictionary. 'Inu' means just plain old 'dog'. 'Mesuinu' means 'female dog', and 'osuinu' means 'male dog'. I asked my friend Kanako (who is an exchange student from Japan) if this was accurate, and she said yes. So there you go.
