this thread probably wont last long, but has anybody downloaded ROTK? i've heard it is out there and was wondering. Heres my opinion on Downloading movies. i think it is wrong to do so, but in some cases i dont see what the big deal is. for example, i downloaded two towers, but i saw it in theaters 5 times, bought the dvd and the ext dvd so it didnt affect my purchasing, lol.

Yah you can download it just get Kazzaa you can download any movie you want for free and even ones that are still in theaters

i think if your going to download it you have to promise to see it atleast 5 times and buy both dvd's, lol. just from a moral standpoint.

yea, but most the movies that you download from Kazaa stink horribly in quality. They're usually just someone who took a home camera into the theater. My friend download The Two Towers, and this guy got part of his finger in the way in the beginning.

I also downloaded Two Towers, bought both DVD's and so-forth, but it was a great rip. DVD quality.

I haven't seen a good rip of ROTK yet, I hope there's one soon though, cause I'm dying to see it again, but am quite busy lately, and DLing it would be the easiest way to check it out.

yeah it works but i always get hidden spam and virus' so i got rid of kazaa after i had to take my PC to the shop.

ever tried Antivirus programs? they prevent viruses you know

you should get Norton Antivirus 2003 Pro, I've downloaded tons of stuff from Kazaa without getting one singel virsus into my computer

You can only get a virus through an exe file if I'm correct..I may not be. You may be able to get them through zips.

not yet, ive been having problems connecting. i have found legitimate ones (though the quality looks suspect) but i can never connect with any of the downloads with over like 2-3 kb/sec. this is going to take awhile. one note, when using kazaa watch out for spyware. download the free version of ad-aware 6.0. it will identify and eliminate any spyware on your computer.

K so has anyone finished downloading it yet? It it the ENTIRE CORRECT movie??? I reeeeeally wanna see it again without paying...I've seen it 3 times and again in two days and again next weekend and hopefully more times and I have the script (PM me if you want it) so downloading it would be all I need! But my KaZaA goes SO slow! It'll probably take about a few months to download for me...That sucks...But I can just see it in theaters every weekend til it gets done! Yay!!!! Haha.

I don't want to get into the ethics of downloading bootleg copies so I won't. While I haven't attempted to download myself, I've heard that bittorrent has a good copy going around if someone wants to risk it. Personally, I don't want to take the risk, and my computer would be too slow to play it anyway.
