Today I restarted Grand Theft Auto 3.

I am aiming to get 100% completion for the game.

Already I have found all the currently accesible Hidden Packages in Portland, 1 mission, half of the Taxi mission, etc.

I'm at 14% so far and I just played for 2 hours today.

I'm not gonna use any cheat codes whatsoever for this.

Maybe, just maybe, I'll keep you all updated on my progress.

Ok, I'm going to get off the 'net now to go play some more.

I'm aiming at starting the Portland missions today and getting to Staunton Island by tomorrow.

I just finished the Taxi, Firetruck, and Police vigilante modes...18%...

Now I will start on the Ambulance and Off-Road Missions.

I finished the Off Road mission in Portland...the Ambulance mission is going to be tough, so far I can only get to Level 4 of it before failing.

So I decided to skip that for now and work on Rampages.

I care. Go Lance!

Stupid Rampages though...the one I am on now...Use a shot gun to kill 20 Triads in 120 seconds...I keep getting close, but not being able to get it. At one point I had 1 guy left to kill and 2 seconds, I shot at him, but time ran out before he died. I got pissed and punched my leg real hard. (Something I do when I get really mad)

I hated the ambulance missions

Especially since you need to get them all in one swoop, unlike the other Vigilante missions.

And to get 100% you need to complete level 12 of it, and you unlock infinate run when you do that too.

i got 100% in vice city, but i never even started playing GTA3. kinda pointless buying the double pack. lol

I got 9-% in Vice City before I traded it in, I just had to do ambulance missions and the boat yard mission, plus 10 hidden packages.

I need to mention how upset I am with GTA 3...

I just finished all the Portland Rampages, and was doing the Paramedic mission, I was on level 12, with the last three patients in the Ambulance, with 2 minutes to spare to get back to the hospital, and then a car came around a corner and flipped me over and I couldn't recover...

I HATE THIS GAME!!!

i had 99% in GTA3. I needed two more jumps, and i still cant find them. Oh well. It's always good to have such a great stress reliever such as killing people pointlessly in a game that can be frustrating.

And did you know that supposedly if you pass Level 12 in the Paramedic mission that you can unlock infinate run?

i bought the game like a month ago and i still haven't played it!!!!

i'm playing vice city instead, i got 61% completed, but i can't find the packages, and 5 rampages and some other stuff.

i'm-a start playing GTA3

Go to Gamefaqs.com and they can help you find the areas for hidden packages and rampages, etc.

I am using it some when I need a tad bit of direction.

Yeah, there are many great sites to check out.

cheatcc.com has cheat codes and walkthroughs, plus strategy guides, but they plague your computer with pop-ups.

If I ever move in with Chanel ( aka Nivvy ) after my visit to New Zealand, I will take her VC and try to make that 100%

You can only ever get 99% on GTA III its widely known that you can't get 100% (just like GT3)

No in GTA 3 you CAN get 100%, there are guides out there that tell you how to do it.

Not that I know of, I'll let you know if I am able to get 100

there is a sequencial order to do 1 of the missions. My friend got to 99% on vice city and he couldn't figure out what to do. so he went and bought the guide (yeah BOUGHT it...what a moron) and mission for mission he went through it and couldn't get the 1%.

So if you miss that mission you can still beat the game, you just can't get 100% and no i'm not quite sure which exact mission it was because i had no trouble beating it 100%

nah we both had it before then....he has PS2 so it was WAYYYY before that was taken out. And i specifically remember killing the hatians..or atleast being told to kill the Haitians.

Which mission(s) did they take out?

i dont' think they took out any missions..i think they just eliminated the phrase "Kill the Hatians" from all future releases.

Same here...and that site is the one where I was clicking madly at them and accidentally downloaded spyware on my machine like 2 months ago, and no programs we can find are taking it off.

Everyday I wake up, get on the net for a bit, then play GTA, taking breaks to do various things, and get on the net some more.

u using an online walkthrough? those last 5-10% are kinda tough to find if you don't have help. It took me like 3 days of wandering the mean streets of VC

Yeah I am using a walkthrough to tell me a more detailed outline of the missions...but I am not using any cheats what so ever.

BTW...I just finished another mission, still 92%.

It's 11% now, I don't really go on it that much. I know my way around VC so I want to do that first. I've just done the "Shut That B*tch up Dog Food" missions on 3 and the Kent Paul one where you rescue Lance on VC.

7 shots isn't a problem...but shooting isn't as fun as drinking margaritas!!!

I just started GTA3 and in like an hour i finished 14 missions. So i have to ask before i get any deeper...Is GTA easier or harder than Vice city? Which one was more fun to beat? And if you take cars out of the equation....which is a better game overall? I'm starting to like Liberty City a whole lot more than Vice City.

I used a walkthrough for the final missions, I only needed them to tell me more about the missions, and I never used cheats.

wasn't hating on you lance....and for this game, with the jumps and a couple of hidden packages, it's better to use a walkthrough....but cheats are gay.
