Man... gotta get that damn movie.. It kicked ass. Although Jason looked stupid in that movie. He looked to skinny and wasnt buffed like in other Jason movies such as Jason X.

Jason looked really tall in freddy vs jason movie ur right he didnt look as big but he sure was taller. But ne way just watched the whole movie and most of the speacil fetures and it kicks ass the alternate ending sucked big time but all the other deleted scense pretty cool and for those who havent gotten it yet or cant buy it yet all i say to u is

so, wot happens in the REAL ending?

The real ending:

It's a draw. Both Characters die.............but both are alive at the end. They leave it up to the particular viewer to decide who won (so they wouldn't piss off any Freddy or Jason fanatics).

At the end, Jason comes walking out of Crystal Lake......carrying Freddy's head. The camera zooms in on Freddy's head, Freddy winks at the camera and smiles.

I must say........I take this to mean that Freddy won. The final scene must take place inside of Jason's dream..........because in the real world Freddy wouldn't be able to wink and smile if he was decapitated. My take is this:

Both characters died.............so we're back to where we were at the beginning of the film. Jason comes walking out of the lake..........but it isn't the real world. It is the dream world, because Freddy's decapitated head can still wink and grin. So basically, Freddy is back in Jason's dream just like he was near the beginning of the film when he pretended to be Pamela Voorhies to trick Jason in to going to Elm St. and killing people.

Oh yeah..........

The special features aren't that great. I was expecting a mythology of the series' or something featurette...........like on Jason X, but nope. Nada.

Watch the movie with the commentary. Near the end of the credits Englund starts talking about the rumors about Ash/Bruce Campbell v/s Jason and Freddy and an Elm Street prequel. When Yu says "but would you do it".....Englund replies "the glove still fits"..........

Well in my opinon they both died since Evil Dead pointed out that Jason must have been in the dream world as he carried freddy's head because freddy would have be un able to wink and smile with a decapitated head.

But I think Freddy won. He one toyed with jason the whole begining of the movie pretneding he was jason's mother. Then Freddy gets pissed that Jason is killing everyone then shoots jason up with the sleeping drug and kicks his ass in the dream world. then once freddy is pulled out of the dream world and into the real world he still kicks jasons ass a majorty of the time even thouhg jason got the last blow by sticking fredy's glove through his stomach freddy i think won because they both ended up dying in the end. as Evil Dead stated

Since freddy was its real actor: Robert Englund, they shoudve made Jason his real actor: Kane Hodder. Jason won becuz if they were in the dreamworld why wud Freddy just let Jason grab his head. Why doesnt Freddy just grow back or reattach his head to his body. Anyway, the first time I saw that movie I thought Jason and Freddy was going to pop out of the water facing eachother. That wouldve been cool they both come out from the water facing eachother then they start walking towards eachother then the movie cuts. Then for the special features they shud have a short film where Jason and Michael is just hacking and slicing the $h!t out of Freddy. Hahaha LoL.

a total of 8 people i think die in the rave party because when i went behind the scnese they had a jump to a death and i counted there as only 20 to 21 victims in the whole movie.

jason kills the skinny dipper first but she is just in his dream. then jason kills trey by machette going through stomach a number of times then crackin him in half by folding the bed he is laying on backwards.

then the friend of trey's father dies by getting his head decapitaed and then jason slashes trey's friend with the machette. and when freddy comes in shadow form her is trying to kill trey's friend and he stabs at him a few times and the kid is like o im ok and runs away and freddy starts talking and says ooo not strong enough yet i guess ill let jason have some fun.

then in the corn fields 8 people die all teenagers pretty cool death when jason puts this big rod threw this guy and throws him about 50 feet.

a security guard dies by jason because he pushes a heavy ass door on him.

then a cop dies by electricty because jason is being shocked and at the same time jason grabbs him so he is shocked too.

then freddy enters the body of the stoner kid and knocks jason out with sleep injection. and then jason gets on shot off first and cuts the stoner kid in half.

Wills friend dies by being burned and slashed across the face by freddy in his bathroom in a dream.

beyonce gets killed by jason beyonce is making fun of freddy and freddy points behind her and jason is there he hits her really hard she goes fling into a tree and dies.

charlie linderman dies before her he just got shoved by jason but accidently went in a sharp object in the wall and died after ward. if i missed ne tell me.

um, its not beyonce that stars in it, its kelly rowland........man i cant wait 2 get this movie when it cums out here........(feb the 4th)

Okay..........I shall explain it again.

Freddy won.....here's why:

#1. The script was written for Freddy to win. This is undeniable based on the original ending. After the test screenings they went back and reshot the ending we see in the film. Bob Shea wrote the ending as it is now because so many Jason fans got pissed off at seeing Freddy being the definite winner.

#2. Jason needs a body to exist. Jason Voorhies must have a human body. Freddy does not. If you kill Jason, he's dead (untill the next time he is ressurected with lightning ala Friday part 6).........if you kill Freddy, big deal. He is already dead. He hasn't had a body since he was burned alive. He is already dead and kills in dreams. Okay.....Freddy got killed at the end, now he's back to killing in the dream world.....what has changed?

#3. The entire fight sequence is in the REAL world at the end. When Jason is ripping Freddy's arms off, that is in the real world. Everything is real up untill the point where they both die, fall into the lake, and fade to black.

All of a sudden the screen is bathed in white. It is no longer the same night they had their fight on the dock of crystal lake. Jason emerges from Crystal lake carrying Freddy's head. Freddy winks and grins at the camera. This is not the real world. This is hell/dream world.

In the real world, Freddy is human. He has no super powers. He cannot grow his arms back (like he does in the dream world while fighting Jason in their first fight) and his decapitated head cannot move on it's own. This is clearly not taking place in the real world.

For those of you who can't grasp the concept:

Any time in any Nightmare on Elm St. movie that you see somebody doing something that is physically impossible, they are in the dream world. If you see pictures of missing kids coming to life and staring at you, you're in the dream world. If you see Freddy's hand start spinning around like a blender, you're in the dream world. If you see Freddy turn into a giant snake and try to eat you whole, you're in the dream world. If you see a decapitated head winking and grinning........it is the dream world.

Just read a bit more. Somebody asked why Jason and Freddy are together in the first place. I shall explain.


If you've ever watched the first two Nightmare on Elm St. movies......Freddy's power is explained. Freddy feeds off of fear. Fear is what makes him strong.....it is what allows him to enter and kill people in their dreams. This is how Nancy defeats Freddy in the first movie. She turns her back to him.......she no longer fears him......without her fear he was powerless against her.

It is now years later. The local town has gone to great lengths to protect their children. They have covered up the Krueger story. The local children do not know who Freddy Krueger is anymore. Since nobody knows who Freddy is, nobody fears him. Without fear, Freddy has no power to enter and slaughter people in their dreams.

This is where Jason comes in. Freddy finds Jason in hell. Freddy morphs into Pamela Voorhies and tells Jason to go to Elm St. and begin killing again. Jason believing this to be his mother, does as he is told......if you've ever watched Friday the 13th part 2 you know how much of a mama's boy he is.

Jason is killing people on Elm St. The local adults think that Freddy is back and is the one killing the kids. Lori overhears the cops talking about Freddy.....she (along with the two guys who escape the mental institution) begin spreading the word about Freddy. Of course they fear him.........so Freddy is back in business.

One problem........so is Jason. Freddy has grown strong now and is ready to kill.......but Jason is beating him to it. Jason is stealing all of his fun. He has to get rid of Jason so there will still be people left for Freddy to kill.

This sets up the fight.

OMG MY PARENTS JUST RENTED ME THIS MOVIE IM GONNA WATCH IT LATER! ILL TELL YOU HOW IT GOES!

I agree with you Evil Dead that the end of the movie where Jason walks out of the water carrying Freddy's head is in the dream world for two reasons.

1.) Jason does not seem to be afraid of water as he slowly walks up to shore.

2.) Jason holds Freddy's head with the same hand that Freddy sliced his fingers from. Jason's fingers have returned.

I myself am glad to see that Jason won the Match. I am a fan of all the slasher movies...but Freddy preys on little kids...and an adult is just overmatched for him.
I have been hearing rumors that there is going to be a sequel...maybe then we will see Freddy prevail.
