minas tirith is indeed beautiful,, and so realistic..its hard to believe that that is just a 16 foot high model lol.wierd!

Isn't that amazing though? They did Minas Tirith really well! And it's said to be 7 layers but you can't really count 'em and some things, could be considered a layer.

It was said that the model of Minas Tirith, some of the parts of the model werent even seen in the movie..'twas on the A&E special

Well yeah because they built a round kinda city and they could only film one side and the other side would be covered with the blue screen because it would be attached to the mountainside

hehe, at the view of the top, it scared me, i was like THAT IS A LONG WAY UP...But im scared of heights..the 2nd time i saw it it wasnt that bad

Ah you must mean the Argonath, Discos. Mighty statues that represents that you have entered Gondor, the South lands of Arda. The great statues of Anduin. These two represents Isildur and Anarion, the two sons of Elendil.
