In an act of petty theft a person of nondescript gender is killed. In the insuing investigation the murderer is found, however it is also discovered that the victim had killed someone themselves and that the Murderer would more than likly have been in full knowlage of that fact. What should happen to the Murderer.

§pearhead
Well, being a vigilante, no matter what the reason is, is still illegal... and should stay that way, actually. The person should be arrested and kept in prison with parole, imho.

Captain REX
Sounds like you are indeed talking about vigilantes.

yerssot
don't know about the UK, there ash007, but overhere, the mainpoint is still that he killed someone and will be convicted for that

(actually, the last years there's a big discussion about selfdefence, here it's only when you personally are treatened that you can defend yourself, if you get violant cause they treaten your possessions it's not selfdefence ... yet)

Fire
there is still a difference between self defence and waiting a few days and then go and kill him.

still the murderer should be trialed for his crime

Captain REX
Yes, he would be trialed anywhere.

It's not self-defense unless your body is attacked. THEN it's self-defense.

You let them strike first, then break their nose off. wink

phinney6
to kill a killer you call the KMC sherrif's department we get the job done right, and quick!

Fire
phinney the hitman

Darth Revan
Well... if he was actually protecting himself or someone else, he should have a) called the cops or b) not waited until several days after he may have actually been in danger

DeNiro
I dont know what ur talking about r u saying if someone is trying to kill u but u kill them first should u be punished in my opnion **** NO

§pearhead
The problem with this situation is that its rather broad...ash, do you mind narrowing down the circumstances?

phinney6
doesnt matter, just call the KMC sheriff's department. smile
