Not sure if this has been tried on this forum (since I just joined today), but even if it has, it's worth doing again, right? Just extemporaneously free-associate a few lines, and we'll try and see if the old addage of a thousand monkeys at a thousand keyboards has any validity.

FADE IN: INT--NIGHT.

A stately mansion atop a barren hill. The wind whistles through the briars as a lone figure makes its way up a snakelike path toward the mansion's giant, oaken front doors.

The figure is a middle-aged man in a trenchcoat, carrying a tattered leather briefcase. He pounds on the door. After a moment, the door creaks open to reveal a geriatric butler in a classic-style tuxedo.

BUTLER: Yes???

MAN: I've come to see Mr. Rangel about the map he requested.

BUTLER: Your name, sir?

MAN: Otis Garver.

The butler shuts the door and leaves Otis Garver to wait in the elements for a few more moments. The door opens again, this time wider, revealing the home's regal decor.

BUTLER: Please come in, Mr. Garver.

Otis steps inside and the door slams shut behind him.
