Must admit I have little respect for this list at all. JFK at no 87. Come on, that movie was utter crud. Star Wars at number 2 !!...need I say more...I could go on but i need to Ralph

BarmyBrummie
okay, i have seen 24 of those movies big grin
I don't agree with this list though, Jurassic park number 11?!?!?!?!?! Toy Story beating the EXORCIST?!?!?!?!?! Thats a lot of bull!!

botankus
Are you sure this list wasn't compiled by someone from this Message Board??

whistle

burlyman
i think i have seen about 69 of those blink

BackFire
crappy list.

amity75
Empire voters are normally spot on when compiling this list but this years was a bit odd.

mook
yeah, i thought some choices/order was a bit odd.

i was just interested to see if anyone had seen them all or thought other films should be in their etc.

jonny rotten>ive resolved never to watch JFK as its a complete fabrication which presents itself as fact and so perpetrates the myth about the JFK conspiracy.

Kes
Some movies in that list should be in the 100 worst movies, others are just to overrated.

Dario Argento
As BF said, crappy list!

SilverFighter
HAHA! Titanic isn't even included in the Top 10!!!!

wicker_man
Although i don't want to be a prude, that is a totally mainstream list, i certainly do not agree with some of the entries as listed by Empire magazine (i mean Psycho at number 72) and no Night of the Living Dead among MANY others.

amity75
Theres no bigger star wars fan than me but Attack of the Clones shouldnt even have been mentioned. It's above the shining for goodness sake!

SlipknoT
Bravehart at #98 come on that movie was great, and Forrest gump at # 46 that movie was great to

botankus
It's almost like the bottom 50 were recommended by 40-60 year old real movie critics, and the top 50 were listed by 12 year olds.

mook
amity75>Theres no bigger star wars fan than me but Attack of the Clones shouldnt even have been mentioned. It's above the shining for goodness sake!

attack of the clones is so bad.

botankus>It's almost like the bottom 50 were recommended by 40-60 year old real movie critics, and the top 50 were listed by 12 year olds

yeah - far too much star wars and LOTR

jetzhere101
i have seen some 27 movies on that list....and i must say one of my fav. life is beautiful didnt make it......

2501
wow, i've seen 52 of these films.

but i agree, some of the choices are a little, shall we say, controversial...
no road to perdition
no ocean's eleven
no holy grail!

but including moulin rouge, and at number 37

it's a travesty!

mary_darko
i have seen 93 of which only like...5...or less would be on my top 100 list

johnny_rotten
If your selection would contain only 5 of the list, I would be fascinated to browse your top 100. Should be interesting!!

lil tears
I have seen like 60 and the numbering is off yes
Some great movies are not mentioned and others are way off messed

and persoanlly I think Snatch was lots better than Fight Club yes

Ahnold
Good list, I felt. And, predictably, lotr was no.1... and no.3... and no. 8... big grin

Oh, and I dunno if anyone will care about this but this is my 400th post!!! Woohoo!!! Go me!!! And yes, I do realise that some people have posts in their thousands but still... woo!!!

alic88
t2: the best action film of all times is way down in the 70's. it should b in top 25

manny321
its Uk guys laughing laughing

thorC
where did you get this list? isn't your list?

Ahnold
It's from Empire magazine...

fini
now that is one sTRANGE list............yeah yeah I love lotr but there is no way in hell that it could place over movies such as casablanca, godfather, schindler's list etc.
AND how did spidey beat ben-hur???????????????

* fini thinks the people at empire magazine are smoking old, moudly weed*

mook
it was voted by the readers...

i think its more a case of favorite films rather than best films.

lil bitchiness
Woohoo!! Fightclub is on there! thumb up

burlyman
how tragic that you count no

manny321
well i think rotk will easily climb the list when more votes get in like in that idbm site, it will pass ttt, fotr #1 nooooo replace with rotk. Anyways its thier own opinion!!!

Ushgarak
First time Star Wars has been beaten there for a while...

in flames
goodfellas big grin

Stewie is God
spiderman sucked.....its basiclly movies from now with some well known classics.....but godfather should be number one...and singing in the rain should be a lot higher cuz that movie is so good, and LOTR should be on it....but a movie needs to be at least ten years old to be a classic.....that way you kno it stands the test of time, then again like mook said, its voted by the readers...so they jus gonna pick the flavor of the week

Neo_Version 7
Empire Magazine is the best!

AliasNeo15
i hate itno expression

Mmoose1025
Some of the movies on that list really piss me off.
such as:
The damn Lord of the Rings trilogy. sure they are entertaining, but by no means would i put them on a list of the top 100 films.
Grease
Spider-Man
Titanic
Moulin Rouge
Pirates of the Carribean

botankus
Better watch it, there are some people in this forum who will hunt you down with a lynch mob if they heard you say that the movie they think is the greatest of all time sucked!! Myself not included, of course. LOL big grin

MarkHobin
I dont agree with the list, The Godfather not even in the top 5??
i have seen 46 of those movies, and the ones i havnt i dont suppose i would want to.
