I thought that the Republic was supposed to win the Clone wars before its fall. This will all have to take place in a short amount of time if Episode III picks up right where this leaves off.

Indeed, that was the established wisdom, yes., And indeed, there isn;t much time to tell the whole story.

We'll have to wait and see how it goes.

I'm anticipating this movie way too much
