We will be moving to a faster more powerful server later on tonight, due to the fact the current one is being overworked.

The first step will involve the forums being closed for around 15-30 minutes. Once the database has been transferred the location of the forums will change temporarily.

Don't worry, you will not have to do anything as everything will be automated, including the redirection to the new location.

If you experience any problems, or just want to ask a question about the server move, then you can do so here.

Cool Raz... the speed isn't bad now anyway, guess it'll just be great after.

The physical server is moving from Houston to Dallas - still in Texas though.

Hey Raz I was just wondering why in the serve complete or what ever sticky when you clcik on that and you look under your name it says when you joined and how many posts you have, then when i clcik on the problems screen it went back to normal?

I confused u all Ok here is the thing I belong to Freakzonline and they have a post count under our names and not location. And when you click on the link leading to Raz's post abou the server it says how many posts he has. Then when you come here it is back to normal no post count. I was just wondering why it changed in there.

for me now it only goes to a white page, and it says done in the corner but nothing shows up, it does edit the post, but doesnt automatically take me there

Raz, a lot of people ((me being one of them)) are having problems with their sig pics. they don't load up, they are just red X's

yeah, I think it can be if the sigs are uploaded to the database that it can go wrong, can it be?

Yeah. we are on an temporary net address right now so I guess that might make the custom sigs unaccessible for a while.

You must have uploaded it after the upgrade.

The images are being pulled from the old server. When you upload new sigs, it goes to the new server. The old server doesn't know about the new images, and thus can't show them.

raz, yours still works, if it's uploaded on a seperate server, I have a few MB free normally to store some sigs
