THE SET-UP: The Dark Jedi, their plans blown open, have retreated to the excavated Sith Monastery on Avalar, determined to recover as much of the Archive- that can teach them the secrets of the Sith- as possible before they have to move on. The Jedi pursue them desperately down to Avalar.

Yerssot, whose faith has recently been wavering, penetrates deepest into the Monastery. yerssot actually 'passes' the mirror tests, which sould be impossibvle for any Jedi as it only admits those who show their Dark Side. Yerssot is wavering indeed.

Before he can make it to the archive, he meets his old enemy Quam. Quam makes yerssots choices at this point simple- join us or die. Yerssot dithers, and Quam shows him how a Dark Sider SHOULD act and starts the fight with a blow to yerssot's throat.

HOW THIS WORKS: Quick reminder: attacker posts first, defender defends, you swap each turn, score a point for winning a round, first to five points AND leading his opponent by two or more wins; winning by greater margins inflicts grater injuries.

Aside from taunts, the ONLY blows you should post are your attacks/defences that are paty of the system. You can post as many taunts as you like.

ANALYSIS: Yerssot is healed since his last encounter with Quam, and both come into his fight exactly even- Quam a veteran Dark Warrior and Yerssot a competent Jedi.

The area is open and admits all sorts of fighting styles. Players can also try and retreat back toeards the mirror tests, into the adjcaent computer room, and Quam knows the way to the archive for a very interesting fight.

Quam, obviously, strikes first.

Within the blink of an eye Quam slashes at yerssot's throat. The Jedi hasn't got his lightsabre lit yet since he thinks Quam's a figment of his imagination. Quam doesn't play around anymore, he goes for the kill.

Yerssot quickly reacts, he makes a well-known bridge:
He let him fall backwards but places his hands on the floor, making an upside-down U

"Is this your idea of talking?"

Quam's first swing goes over your body, yerss, but you are surprised and totally exposed, and vulnerable to a good kick that it is unlikely Quam would pass over. You are on the defensive immediately. You had better have a riposte in mind!

Yerssot quickly gets his act together...
Master Gundark, destroy the library!

He ignites his lightsabre and looks straight in the eyes of Quam...
The young lets out a scream as he uses the Force-Run to get closer to his attacker, as soon as he came near he uses the Force Jump to jump over his attacker, while in midair, he uses the Force-Push to push Quam down to the ground and making an 8 with his sabre, so his stomach got defence.
He lands after him, Yerssot slashes with his lightsabre from upper left to low right. He quickly spins across his axis and he kickes quickly with his left foot against the aggressors face, after doing that he keeps spinning with more speed and in the same turn he uses his right foot to kick in the stomach of the attacker, getting cover from his lightsabre.(the correct term is a jump over)
After this he lands and quickly rolls away, standing back in the classic defence post (like QGJ in TPM)

Quam competently blocks all the weird movements the Jedi makes. "A lot of swirling and twirling but no effect", Quam thinks as yerssots flies about him. When, yerssot takes his stance, Quam counters with an exeptionally strong Force push unbalancing him.

Yerssot's acrobatics are competent and his feet make contact, Quam, but you'ver had much worse. he is also alreayd withdrawing- and occupied- when you make your push. Yerssot is SEVERELY unbalanced and Quam may follow up.

Score: Quam- 2 yerssot- 0. Quam to attack.

"Turn now or you WILL be destroyed" Quam said as he quickly pulls out a pair of goggles, draws his tommy blaster and fires at the ceiling above the Jedi. The light is blinding and the result effective. NUmerous rocks come falling down at yerssot. Using Force Speed Quam charges at him with both sabres lit, lashing out at him from both sides. One sabre at his right arm, the other at his left leg.

Yerssot quickly backflips away from the falling ceiling...
He stops doing that when he's at a good distance...
The young knight sees all the fallen big rocks and he uses the Force to throw them, one for one at Quam

To be honest, yerss, it's hard enough to backflip out the way of the rocks; keeping a good sense of where Quam is at the same time, with all the light and shots and stuff, is nigh on impossible. Your thrown rock goes clear.

Still, your dodge is clean, asnd you can prepare to meet Quam as he charges.

Quam suddenly stops. "Give yourself to the Dark Side, young yerssot. It is the only way." And Quam reaches out his hand for the Jedi.

Yerssot moves quickly towards Quam with his sabre next to his head.

He places a very fast slash with a lot of power (because of the highed of the sabre)
After this, that was just mend to get Quam's attention and seeing his reflexes together with a chance to surprise him with speed, the young knight then slides his slash to the right, but then he suddenly turns arond his axes and stabs at the center.
While Quam was shocked about that move and while he tried to block that move, Yerssot let his sabre down a bit and when Quams sabre was there to block the move, he moved it up again, the force that came free from that one, caused Quam to open up his arms, like a crucifixtion. That was the moment when Yerssot used his sabre to stab at the exposed side

Quam quickly turned his body sideways a little bit, just enough for yerssot's stab to miss his body by an inch. But yerssot's stab was very fast causing him to overextend and nearly lose his balance.
Immediately Quam brings down both sabres on yerssot's, swung his body around and swings his boot fiercely into his face. Quam continues his swirl and stands on guard to finish the JEdi.

Quam's simple twist undoes the whole move, because the final blow hits nothing. Yerssot is forced to jerk his sabre back to avoid being sliced into three and then is reeling from the kick, giving Quam another chance to strike.

Score: Quam- 3 Yerssot- 0. Quam to attack.

"NOW! THAT is the power of the Dark Side. Your feeble powers and skills are no match for mine. There's no way to run. I feel your hate swelling inside you. And your fear....... give in to your feelings and join us. Kuylen is your Master now.

Join us... or ... be... destroyed" Quam speaks with contained but clearly noticeable fury. His body looks ready to attack, it's all or nothing for the young Jedi.

The Jedicode! They lied! There IS emotion! There IS death!

Before he knew what happened, Yerssot fell on his knees as if he was forced by a mystical energy field...
He looked at the sabre Lance gave him...Lance... the Jedicode...
The young knight felt the hate flowing, he couldn't keep it together, he ripped the decorations off the sabre, together with all they symbolised, the code, the two missions, the pain, the sacrifices...
He was ready... ready to show those liars! Those so-called Jedi that didn't helped him when he was facing Quam...
Yerssot threw away the ring he had...
At the same time, on Coruscant, A'Shared Hett woke up and let out a big scream, his best friend took a wrong turn on the crossroad...

Quam puts one of his sabres back in its hilt, stretches out his hands and uses the Force to make yerss's sabre fly into his hand. Yerss is no longer resisting. Quam checks out the sabre briefly and then puts it out of sight under his cloak.

"Come, young Dark Jedi, come and meet your new Master. We';re about to learn the Mysteries of the Sith and we can use your help."

Well, that rather brings things to an end!

Yerss, you now join the Dark Side thread- currently as a prisoner, maybe to develop into a full member; time will tell.

Queeq, you return to your threrad as normal.
