Can there be no other plots to this movie?

This one is a kind of all thread, well Brosnan is not going to be the next James Bond
... And for the new JB movie, they (producers, director) sould change the plot a little bit, and maybe not take out the happy ending but just kill the Bond girl at the end... that would be fun

You can say much, but to me that's a rather sad ending

what's so special about OHMSS??? It sonds so special.. too bad my DVD's not working.,..

it's the only movie where George Lazenby plays Bond (people have lots of discussions about if he was good or not and I'm part of the latter group)
but it's the movie where he marries a contessa (for real and he does love her) and at the end she gets killed in a drive-by-shooting by SPECTRE, very emotional

in the end this cop passes by and he steps off his motor and asks to Bond
"Is something wrong?"
and he answers:
"No,... nothing wrong officer... We're just resting... because... We have all the time in the world"

I haven't seen the movie, how is the ending? The Bond girl died?

She died because in the novel she died too, and Peter Hunt (director) wanted it to stick as close to the novel as possible.

Whether you like George Lanzenby as bond or not, its a classic bond through and through. It did however lack action in the middle of the film and I'm sure about 45 minutes passes by at one point without any action at all. The Last hour of the movie really makes up for it though.
