Dude, Im sorry, but the remake to Dawn of the Dead just kicked ass... The original was good too, but the zombies just weren't scary...

Some remakes can't be compared to the original because there not actually remakes more than there re-imagined reinvented versions of the originals...TCM anyone?

The Thing definetly because of John Carpenter's input, also the Fly because of the amazing make up effects. Night of the Living Dead was a good remake though not as good as the original, likewise The Blob.
