Actually my favourite parts of the JB movies are the beginning scenes, where the plot is developed

hehe, that reminds me, I was watching a bond movie (obviously, but forgot the title, think it was Moonraker) they had a fight in a glassmuseum, reminded me of DaD

it had this blue glass very old vase that was priceless and they were fighting around it and bond was really careful not to hit it and in the end the baddy just hitted it with his sword

Just picked up a disc of MOONRAKER...it's not half as bad as I remembered it...yeah, there's alot of corny moments but the sets look nice as does Corrine Clery and Lois Chiles and John Barry's work is some of his finest...

yup, even have to admit that Moore has GOOD moments... from time to time

Nice one RA...Bond's tousle with Zorin atop the Golden Gate...it had slipped my mind...

I think what helps the scene immensely is some of John Barry's finest work in the Bond series.

btw, if you got that golden gate thing ... there was this exhibit in Chicago I think where they got some blue screen and a little construction so you could be bond yourself in that scene

FYI: Part of the GG was built to scale and used in the film. A blue backdrop was used to facilitate the rest of the action behind them: the river sequence. The Zoran blimp was a mini-model. Hard to believe, eh?

Walken...Christopher Lee and Yaphet Kotto are the three Best Bond villains...EVER...all were in Rog's Bond films...all are renowned for other films...

I'm loathe to admit it but I think Murdock's other half Elliot Carver is a pretty good villain too...there again, Jonathan Pryce...another excellent actor!

well, if mister Carver was perhaps more buffed instead of being a big wuss ...

In Bond films there's a formula: The main villain must be a megalomaniac, but weaker than his bodyguard(s), thus easier to defeat when he's up against Bond. Unfortunately, 006 was an expection to that rule.

Did you notice anything strange about his back teeth? I don't think they're really Jonathon Pryce's...saw him recently again in the excellent GLENGARRY GLENROSS and I did'nt notice anything...
