Spider-man was "spider-boy" kind of... he was only a boy (15) when he got the powers but called himself spider-man and everyone assumed he was an adult...

Well there is a spider-boy but he was in that whole crossover thing with DC and it was SuperBoy and Spider-Man mixed, there is also a younger Spider-man or spider-boy if you will but it is do to the Marvel Mangaverse but yeah there is a spider-boy just depends on how you look at it.

There is such thing as Spider-Boy, he is about 14 or 13 years old and lives in an alternate universe then Spider-Man, he has the same powers and fights crime too, there was actually a comic of it.

youre all misteken! there was a spider-boy but his name was "spider kid"! he was Ollie Osnick and he admired Doc Ock so much that he built his own set of mechanical arms and teamed up with Doc Ock against spidey, until Ock almost killed him so he modified his arms to me spider legs ans created a replica of spidermans suit and started imitating spiderman as the Spectacular Spider-Kid

Welcome aboard. I love Skottie's work, and am a fan of his, but sadly, many of the other motherf*ckers on here aren't as receptive to change as I. I wrote an e-mail to Skottie a few months ago, and he wrote back in just a few hours. I thought he was so sweet, that I have made it my mission to create as many fans for him as I can by getting the word and his images out to everyone I can.
Are you on Led's site as well? I am, under, you may have guessed, badsymbiote.

scott should be ashame for his low art on spiderman, comon the guy is great but he version for spiderman sucks........i know in this career u cant just copy someone art desgin u must make ur own type so u can deatach from avarage art makers.but i hate it. the only good thin i saw on his artwork was that he made the lizard look like a lizard instead of the crocodile type we were dealing recentrly.

before i feel a bloobling tongue behind my back. scotty is a great artist i dont like his style cos i personaly feel he deprives spiderMAN, his spidey looks like a kid, he could had been placed to ultimate instead it would suit spiderman more

Check the Spider-girl thread below. The new title hit the shelves a few months ago--I think theyr'e on #5 right now, If I remember right. I don't read it, but it's not the first--she's been around, and there have been numerous other Spider-women as well.

Ya there is a Spider-Girl, who's Mary-Jane and Peter's daughter, and then there were 3 different Spider-Girls, which would take forever to tell you about. Look it up in the Ultimate Guide to Spider-Man if you have it. If you dont, go check it out from the library or buy it. Its by Tom DeFalco and covers everything all the way up to Ultimate Spider-Man.

Hey--I like your signature pics--most of those are from Legend of the Spider-Clan, right? And the Spidey one on the far left is from Skottie's Venom series--a picture where Venom is strangling and killing Spidey and the FF. That's all Skottie's work, isn't it?

yup it is. i just cut up some pics on paint shop pro, layered them, and faded the upper ones. Im liking the results.

I wonder why no one ever liked the Spider-Clan? The story was cool, the costumes were great, and the art was gorgeous. Sigh.

bah.. i loved the spider-clan, i agree with you totally badsymbiote, i think its my fav book that I own, kinda inspiring in my own drawing i think. i really liked the whole manga adaptation thing too, not just the artwork but the story and concepts lend themselves to manga also.

And the story was awesome--not the rosy sweetness that we are accustomed to. Spider-Clan's Parker suffered horrible abuses and STILL managed to make something positive of it. You're maybe the only other person I've encountered that has even heard of this title. Do you have the one where Venom is introduced (I think it was #6)?

i like the spider clan too, i have that big marvel mangaverse graphic novel, but there is still an issue or two in there. i liked the weapons he used.

Ollie Osnick (?), eventually grew up from being the Spider-kid, into the steel spider.
Peter Parker was 14 when he became Spider-man.
Spider-Girl (May "Mayday" Parker) is the Original (publicised) spider-girl. She is from a universe where Peter Parker and Mary Janes Daughter had been kidnapped by Norman Osborn, instead of dying in labor, as she did in mainstream continuity. Marvel recently introduced a new Spider-Girl into the current timeline.
There have been many Spider-Women. 4 or 5 to be exact. Recently, Jessica Drew, the original, regained her powers, reclaimed the identity she created, and joined the avengers.
Peter Parker was also briefly the scarlet Spider, when Ben Reilly took his place in jail, and all his Spidey costumes (except the black ones that Mj forbids him from wearing due to a runin with venom when he was still totally evil) were destroyed.
Ben Reilly was also Spider-man When Peter moved to Portland, Oregon and lost his powers. And in the Spider-Girl comics, Jessica Drew, the original Spider-Woman has a son. He's MC2's Spider-man.

oh, and Joe Wade Became the Evil Scarlet Spder, thanks to the female Doc Ock, And Felicity Hardy, The MC2 offspring of Felicia Hardy and Flash Thompson, is the MC2 Scarlet Spider. I think Kain wanted to kill her when he saw her wearing Ben's costume.

Are you sure there was a spider boy or spider kid? I know that Marvel is coming out with a new comic called Young Avengers with a younger version of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and The hulk.

I'd be willing to bet every penny I have, and I'll throw in my car for good measure. Spider-boy was only in the Amalgam Universe, When Marvel and DC merged. He was a mixture of the Ben Reilly Spider-Man and the Kon-El Superboy. The Spectacular Spider-kid originally idolized Doc Ock, and even built a set of mechanical arms like Octavius' with the family fortune. However, after watching a battle Between Ock and Spidey, he switch allegiances, and began hero worshipping spidey, and adapted the arms to be more arachnid-like. He then took on the name of Spider-kid. When He grew up he became the Steel Spider.

Yeah that sounds good to me.
