I mentioned something about this in my head injury post but it wasn't known how bad my condition is. When I cracked open my head, they took my blood pressure and it was 200/133 which set off alarms. They said they've never seen it so high in somebody my age/weight (of course they then think I'm on drugs but I'm not). It was thought that I could have been subconciously in shock. But no, I went to the doctors today and its still like 180/120 so the time before was not due to the head injury. This really sucks, because I am at serious risk of a heart attack or stroke so I can't exercise and my track championships are next weekend. I'M SO ****ING MAD! I've only ran one 100 and one 200 all season due to injuries and yet I still have the top freshman times in my league from the beginning of the season. I was going to be able to place 5th-ish even without conditioning overall but no, now I can't. This sucks.

BTW: Its probably not healthy for me to be this frustrated about this.

Also, I have to see all sorts of specialists in the next few days because the doctors are stumped to why my blood pressure suddenly sky-rocketed in 2 months (from 148/104). They also said that I might have kidney problems which could add to the problem.

thats so bad...that head injury is takin a lot outta you, and that one where you rolled down the hill seems bad too

So sorry to read it My spinal injuries meant similair stuff to me I really hope it won't be as bad as it seems now.

I'm guessing the means you are just kidding about me being female. Thanks for the comments. I'm sure I'll be fine but the precautions are just a pain in the ass. Today they scared me when drawing more blood for tests (I must be low with all the blood drawn + the head wound). The stupid nurse didn't have the needle all the way in my arms and it was filling with blood when all of a sudden it started making a slurping noise. I could see air bubbles going through the blood sample (bubbles in your blood kill you btw). The end of the needle is slanted and part of the whole was in my arm and part of it was out so it was sucking in blood and air at the same time. Stupid nurse.
