Drifter101

Myth
forum crew: Is that movie mentioned in the spoiler any good? Just curious. It looks like it could go either way from pretty good to kind of pathetic.

<<Solo>>
Donnie Darko
Matrix Revolutions
Night Of The Living Dead

forumcrew

forumcrew
oh yea howd i forgot one of my favorite movies ever...

"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

The hero I was talking about is the jap guy that dies near to the end.

forumcrew

Cinemaddiction
Vader wasn't a hero, he died in VI, and my vote goes to Jean in X2.

Linkalicious
i guess you could technically say that Jean dies, but we all know she's coming back for the next one...

Yes he was, since he died as Anakin, not Vader. He redeemed himself by killing the Emperor.

Anyways... I'd say Donnie Darko

shaber

Drifter101
great choices, but for some reason when heros die in movies they make them alot more powerful in a way

Drifter101
and i do like Ken Watanabe's death, very honorable, and touching

Red Superfly
I can't count Jean in X2 - because as we (the fans of the comics anyway) all know, she becomes the Phoenix and isn't dead at all. In fact, you could say she is reborn. (you may have noticed a Phoenix shape in the water at the end of X2).

Vader is a hero. Well, Anakin is anyway, he saves his son from the Emperor and later dies from his injuries. What an awesome death.

I'd go with Terminator 2 - simply because I was around 7 years old when I first saw it, and when he gets lowered into the steel, I had a tear in my eye and was like "noooooooooooooooo!" - it was great how I could relate to John Conner like that, and understand the characters pain - what an awesome movie.

eleveninches
and Event Horizon. He makes the ultimate sacrifice in the end. going for hell to save his crew

Best ending to a hero's life. He took that sucka out too. Jean Reno was the" Bossman" in that movie until he sold out and did some horrific pieces sh!t. mad

Anywayz any of u think Natalie P. will return as Matilda in The Professional 2? Matilda taking over Leon's hitman shoes.

KharmaDog
from least favourite to most favourite

4. - Although the movie itself had scottish historians wretching in pain, William Wallace's death in braveheart was horrid to watch, but well done.

3. - Eric Bana gave Hector's death a sad nobility. (once again not a huge fan of the movie, but Bana and O'Toole were great)

2. - When Captain John H. Miller says "Earn this" in saving private ryan, I thought it should the total absurdity of the situation, it was an awesome moment.

1. - Maximus' death and everyone's reation to it was so well done that it left me speachless.

burlyman
