I dunno, it might be just me, but has anyone else noticed that a lot of rock bands seem to get a mid life crisis and pretend that they're actually a country and western band, or a blues ensemble... for example, Guns and Roses, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Johnny Cash...

Well kinda...Korn went through a phase where they were trying to be all goth industrial halfway through their career (see Untouchables). Same idea I suppose.
