Come to look at it, don anyone thing that venom and spawn look some king of similar. The emblem on the chest. The symbiote stuff and all that. Don't anyone think that todd mcfarlane must have copied his formerly created character, Venom. He used to work in marvel right? What are your views?

of course there similar, like you said Todd Mcfarlane worked on and created both. Todd just amped Spawn up to make him a flagship icon for his new comic line Image

First the Apperance.
both are very agressive looking
both posses large white "eyes"
both posses a torso wraping "V" type emblem
both have predominetly dark bodies

the character
Both posses a suit that does the work, Spawn's cape and body are even referred to as a "Symbiote" on occasion.
both are Anti-Hero's neither Eddie or Al ever seem like goody goody characters, there agendas are not hidden from the public, people know who they are and what they want.
