Thats cool but why would hmv put episode 3 next to the title.

After doing a google search on this and from the pictures posted by DragonX, it appears obviously that that was one of the title's to a Star Wars book. It can be found at Amazon.com.

splinter of the mind's eye is the first, and most continuity challenged EU ever. unless you honestly believe that every encounter that luke and vader had left one of them missing a hand.

Darth jello is correct...It was the first book written about Star Wars...so i highly doubt that is the name...just remember the Revenge of the Jedi fiasco...

SOTME has actually been removed even from EU continuity. It was written by ADF when it was not known that the original film would get a sequel.

Then this makes it even more curious as to why there is going to be a release in May 2005 of classical music by John Williams called Star Wars Episode III Splinter of the Mind's Eye, doesn't it?

what's there to wonder? they could have picked "Dark Forces Rising" or what ever too, they just picked up this, title hasn't been deceided yet

Yers, the point is that anything released (or planned to be released) with the title "Star Wars Episode III" and then with a subtitle is probably going to be an official Lucasfilm release, and won't just have any old title picked out of the blue. I really doubt if Lucasfilm would just churn out a few hundred thousand Episode III original soundtrack cd's with such a laisez-faire attitude.

Yes, yers, but you're not an online seller of music on CD. There's quite a bit of difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas hasn't even decided on the title yet.

You think just becase HMV is a company there are incapable of error? Like I say, this kind of thing happens all the time. They've just been suckered. Some guy once got his own name on imdb.com down as playing Anakin Skywalker.

All that I'm pretty sure of is that the Episode 3 title will be a complete shocker, or something that we wouldn't expect, just like the previous two. That's my guess.

It's probably just a title to create conjunture and spread disinformation. It's happened before.

I honestly think he'll wake up on the morning of the announcement and just say the first title that comes into his head. I've liked all the movie titles so far. People hated Attack of the Clones as a title but I thought it was really cool.

i liked attack of the clones as well...i know it will live up to the serial heritage though, so i'm not too worried...
