Remember Warlocke form the New Mutants. His dad was one of the more powerfull things in Marvel. He could probely drain Apocalypse of his energy and is strong enough to rip planets apart so could rip him to tatters. It took Cypher to decode his technorganic ageline to defeat him. Warlockes society is based on father/son destruction so that gave Cypher a lead. He regressed Magnus into non creation.
