he needs to know the stages of printing in art (painting on something) and then putin it on paper

ermm im not good with this but ill give it a shot.
what is he printing with? if you use polystyrene then you draw the design on with like a felt or something washable, then use like a pencil or ball point pen to go over or cut out the bits you dont need, use a roller and ink and you have to roller the ink until it makes a 'cellotape' sound then put it on the printing tile (or whatever) and press it down being mindful of the corners.
If you mean printing from something else i really dont have a clue . sorry
