Poem 1: If ever

If ever was a moment that he could have given in
If ever was a time and a feeling and a sin

If ever was a problem that darkened the darkest day,
he'd save his smile and give it then and free some of dismay

If ever was a season, that brought a cooling cry
If ever he saw you watching he'd never let you die

If ever was a regret that swallowed all the scars,
If ever he heard you calling him, he'd have picked up all the shards

If ever he heard her calling, giving up her strife,
He'd never have let you take your one and only life

If ever you heard him weeping, he'd cover his lonely head
If ever the time was ever and now, remember what he said.

If ever a time was ever and now, remember what he said.

Poem 2: Hand over

The town was deserted, the bullentin boards lay abandoned,
the streets were lying helpless, the building torn in two
The field were burn down ashed and shambles,
And the park was a deadyl hell, when nobody knew

When the red came in flying, the shells shattered first,
like a snail hurt by an infant child in the afternoon sun
The sound was burning fire in your ears, you felt them burst,
You couldn't get your head on staright or get your legs to run

The fire licked your every skin, would't go away,
The look of it changed and touch feels dead and lumpy
the pain should subside but it grows stronger every day
and Feeling sad and cold and alone. The road ahead lies bumpy

When war befalls, it's not easy to see why it comes to you,
Or why you have to live through it all at the age of four.
And when the efects last a life-time, the bombs still fall on cue
In memory and dreaded mental rush in minds sharp core

To end it all I'd say to you hand over nothing of value
Do not give in hope or love or fear Or the terror of them has you
Do not give them a fear or a tear that they can take away
Just give them nothing and keep in yourself, the hope you carry each day.

Laviera_j
Hey Soda! Hoped to see you here!

It is about a man who did not see the love in his life falling away from him to the point where she killed herself. He is now looking back from the viewpoint of the third person.

BOPRecruit 16
when i read it, kind of makes me think of the relationship between dracula and cassandra in my forthcoming van helsing fic. although he did in some way love her, he didn't truly understand it or could hold onto her before she moved onto another in her life. than, his somewhat light view after her death and eveything...yeah.

Laviera_j
Yeah that sounds similar. |Have you seen VH yet?

BOPRecruit 16
i wish! eek! i'll be seeing it next weekend though! i can't wait! bunny i planned the story before i even seen the movie, but i didn't care. i just had to get an idea down and correct it after i see the movie! big grin

Laviera_j
SOunds great! I was going to see it yesterday, but I didn't get a chance. :C and now i cant! *sob sob sob!*

BOPRecruit 16
when did van helsing come out in the uk?

Laviera_j
Only recently, like a week ago-ish I think

Laviera_j
Greatest Twist.

Rubble was lying on the floor alright,
The celieling had caved in long ago
For weeks welay herehoping to be rescued
but the cage that had been wound round us
was inpenetrable as the sun
To all who wandered by the ruins,
and the dust clouds made them cough,
saw nothing but the dead cold pieces
and not us lying there underneath.
The thunder came from below us, shaking up the ground
the floor lifted and engulfed us
and the pillars pinned us there.
The days are few in numbers,
maybe two or three or four
and the news proclaims us dead and gone
and they don't bother to look for bodies.
They are saving the many thought to be alive,
can they not see we are in here?
so we'll lie in the dark untill we are found
we may be tragidies of the greatest twist
mother nature was punishing the living for killing
we are the first on her list.

Laviera_j
Surrealist

The man who wrote the stories,
about men and women who flew,
who took their chances in glory
and walked on water and dew.

He wrote that they could read people's minds
and find their way in the dark
Had strength like all of their kind
and you could see them by their mark

The stories were never reality
nothing you could ever see
the stories were never eye candy
but fiction and surreal duality

But the stories he lavished on the learned fans
broke up in their childish minds
and from the type cast he could never aband
never stories of any other kind

Mr Surreal do you listen
to intuition any more?
Do you feel inspiration
and innovaton lapping on your minds vast shore?

So break free from the same pathway
And never get bored for your part
and never work for bloodpay
never let money replace your art.

Poem 5:

Suffocating Asphyxia

Hallow matrix and the core of the earth, bring memories of my day.
People talking of their daily filth, and sickening somber way.
If not relationships and open court, or hell about their jobs
If not sex and drink a tall or short, or looks and of men and their nobs

Some conversation is hard to face, when fleeting devils are swearing
Some people make make makeup all of their haste, and live for life forbearing..
Do not toil in such shallow things, there's more to life than scheming
Talk to your spouce of thing other thank rings, or riches or watching the TV screaming.

If only for a second, let it be, let it be, and talk some sense upon me
For time is passing a second at a time, and feelings are leaving to shun thee.
Wasted air, and mellow fidelity, and seeping adoration
Will beind you close and hold yout tightly, and spare you information.

So let it be said you wasted not, and gave to poor and needy
And always were the human soul forgot, and gave your word unselfishly.
Speak to those who will really hear, think not of riches and jewellery.
For time is short and you will die, and in heaven those riches forget thee.

sliding infidelity

She had been living with him for ten years,
of which she enjoyed three
She had been feeding him for ten years
And she had thildren - all three

She had sat at his side for ten years running,
and made him recover, when ill
She had given him her every love for ten years running
and she had payed every bill

But one day she saw and old classmate
Who se had known for ten long years
And prior to her marriage,
had loved him and been on some dates

He had grown into a gentleman
All she had come to admire
He was everything her husband could have been
And now, was her every desire

When he offered to help her,
and release her from her pain
her boredom would surley not release her
she decided to accept and accept later shame

After a couple of meetings
She decided to give in
And went to his hotel room
And betrayed her husband in sin

After the evening was over
she felt no crime, no shame
She felt she liked him better
And she'd leave her husband again

if he could not love her
As her friend from school shall
Then why should she stay there?
Why should she keep going back to hell

IN leaving her husband realised
How precious she came to be
And brought her home some flowers,
and read her poetry

Now upon hearing his pleading,
Her heart did swell and fall
she smiled and watched him leaning
The flowers at her new front door

Now this was all a fool
To trick him into sight
And she had left her friend from school
and loved her husband right

So when he came a-pleading
She opened up the door
and showed him in (she was leading)
and watched him to her implore

Today the woman is living
alone in her new flat
her husband and her are dating
and they are happier than that

Their children are so happy
The spark in their parents is there
So seperation was their ally
-their road to love and care

parting and the parttaking
Can have different results
The partaking gets tired and boring
But the parting reminds us of how we felt

Anecdote to a Prelude

People were talking in the bathroom one day
About the facts of life
When living in a village of thousands
everybodies fraviloties is everybodies strife

The facts they spoke of were many,
But one remained an allegory
like losing a divorce trial
and giving give allimony

The anecdotes and the rumours
gave room to fuss and toil
and gave her emotional tumours
and smothered her broken soul

The whispers of the lead up to -
the prelude - the prologue
the shoutings if the real and the new
the fashion of the showdog

the communtiy shared every fable,
every feel and every joy
they shared every single christmas
and gave and took every toy

Communal bathing and shower
communal laudry day
A suffolcating experiencing tower
but they were comforted in every way

Every pimple was known to them
every gross little habbit
all of their fickle shedding
they all had to have it

Fights and fall out were not foreign,
In fact, they were known through and through
But every fight resulted in
a happier reconciliation too

A linked people by blood and love
were burned alive today
They cried and scremed so loud and high
but they never gave her away

You see, some pirates came and demanded
a girl that they could capture
but no one would give away their community
not for any exquised rapture

A fine example of stature
this village gave to show
their bonding adoration
for each other a warming glow

Now they are together
in eternity
when you die, how it happens
matter greatly

Their sacrifice was little
only a mortal coil,
and every drop if spittle they felt
was a drop of gold in perpetuity royal

And now as a community kings are born
and they live how they did in life
but now they live in royal style
nothing to harm them no more wiery strife

livining poor and together
and sacrificing all
meant dying and rising forever
and existing universally tall

Obsession

Hot. Smoldering. Suffolcating.
Exilerating. Sensual. Infultrating.

Dizzy. Free. Open Harmony.
Wet. Cold. Extreme Irony.

Focus. Inescapability.
Harness. Emotion. Predictability.

When obsession drives your thinking
Controls every movement, every whim

when it dizzies your focus
and smolders your will.

when thinking becomes reasoning
when imagination becomes circular

when your heart goes treasoning
when words become vernicular.

when hot goes wet, and wet goes cold
when feeling goes through dry and old

when thoughts collide
and pores draw sweat

trolloping and abide
the law needs no pet.

obseesion. drive. hallow abyss
feeling deprives thoughts of all.

obsession.depression. total amis
wanting. waiting. deprived. apall.

obsession. conviction. excitement
denial. anxious. enditement.

Obsession is good for the body
Obsession is good for the soul.

Obsession the wielder of everything
Obsession the ruler of all.

Yesterdays Benevolence

Readily achieving and yet loving. Forgiving.
He sits on his thrown and watches.
Beginnings and endings and life-living,
his linnen shirt he starches.

Beneath the oaken wood of his thrown
and thorugh the leather throngs,
His feet lie tapping in a dull tone
and his servants sing him worshipping songs.

His hair is an orange from the sun dripping down,
His skin is a deathly white.
His name is the ultimate NOUN,
and his bark is as bad as his bite.

Season to season, rains to rain,
The fall of the sun in the night.
He sees all sin and sees all pain,
and puts them all to right.

A man you say,
who lives this way,
Impossible, improbable indecent!

A man this day?
A man hooray!
Possible, wonerful, apparent!

But then you turn your head to the side
and see the tall wall mirror.
The reflection you see does not abide
with the laws of reality - and you shiver.

All in black with a long gaunt head,
you've seen the all impossible.
For the man you see is what will be
if every man got his ultimate fantasy.

Women who bow and sing their praises,
and women who scrub the floor.
Well typical really - a man who lazes,
and women shoulda all adore!

But a dreams a dream -
thank goodness for that!
And now I shall go,
and bow, and take off my hat.

I don't know why

I don't have a reason, a cause or the excuse of a bad day
The things that make me shudder, and weep and turn away

I don't have the luxury of having a loved one die
I don't have a brother who hits, and who yells, or sees me as a lie

I don't have a mother who tells me I am bad or a dad who calls me names
I don't have a dog who bites my heels, or an uncle who my family shames

I have most luxuries, though i could have more
I don't have no education, my life is not a bore

I am occupied and have what i need
I love to write and sing - my life is a tapestry

i dont know then why i falter or why i fall
I dont know why i scream in my mind or why i ball

i dont know why you hate me or why you turn your head
i dont know why you falter and fall,
and why you love your bed

You cry in your own head. you cry within your skin
oyu are like me maybe. you are melencholy next of kin.

Catch me When I fall

The mountain is high in Shigeru Mountain
The air freezes my face
The shinzaru tribes draw in like a curtain
A new and steady pace

The thing in my stomach caused by fear
of falling and hitting below
I don't want to finally disappear
I want them to know

My hand slips, and the ledge is wet
the rock tumbles away
My foot slips and I'm not gone yet
but I wil, soon be on my way

My hand has let go and my stomach leaps
my heart gives out a cry
I want to be caught I will it to creep in
Don't wanna say goodbye.

To be continued.....

continuation:

Don't wanna have to explain to them,
Don't wanna have to see them cry.
But tired of all I have to condem
and blame on a weary sky.

The hollow trees and the shallow hills
Have given their colour to the mucky soil,
Their life is fading with their bluebell frills
and their life blood seeps the ground like oil.

The tree is the man who stood before us all
Who gave his only testimony.
Who beared his soul and prevented our fall,
who is the one and only.

His branches are stripped and gone away,
and there is nothing to have but gladness.
His life was his and his spirit used to asway
our path of lonely sadness.

But branches heal and time wounds ills
and the trees grow their leaves again.
A rising up can be seen in the hills,
and our senses delight without pain.

Winter has passed, and his arms are full again
the landscape has its colour.
If we had given in and fallen away,
what would we be to one another?

The Summer is now, and we have learned a lot
We have given in to sadness, and glum,
But we learn from our mistakes, and have a pot
Of ideas on how to prevent the sum

of bad things happening again.

CHANGES - song of the fretful youth

Changes are for springtime.
Changes are for the poor.
Changes happen only in the house on twenty four.

Change is for the weary.
Change is for the weak.
Changes happen only when there is a need to speak.

Change means trials and errors.
Change means life and death.
But I plan to live forever with breath after breath after breath.

Change is for the common lot.
Change is for those who need.
Change comes along and smacks the poor sods who actually need to feed.

Change is something alien.
Change is something lost.
If I see change anywhere it would come at a great cost.

Change is for someone else.
Change is not for me.
I was born 17, I'll remain 17. Change is not for me.

Nothing Ever Changes

I know I'm eighteen not seventeen.
I know that the sky is clear today.
I know that things aren't as they have been.
I know that the days aren't always the same.

I see in myself a beginning.
And know that there will be an end.
I see in everyone a shimmering.
And I see the changes in friend.

I remeber a time I was seven.
I remeber a time I was nine.
I remember a time I was eleven.
And when dreams, all of them, were mine.

I see those chages clearly.
I can hear them in my mind
But even though they are dear to me.
I know they are sometimes lies.

Because nothing ever changes.
Nothing ever could.
Nothing stops and re-arranges,
and nothing ever would.

I am still only a girl
Who wanders silently on.
Who shouts and moans in a world,
who laughs and smiles at the sun that shone.

I still cry
I still die
I still lie
I still sigh

I still bend
I still bounce
I still grow
Every ounce

Nothing ever changes.
Nothing ever could
Nothing re-arranges.
And why, why should?
