But the terminators can not analyse everything. Sure they could detect a threat immediatly, but only if it was an obvious threat. I could come up to you like a good friend and then swing a sucker punch you never would have expected. A terminator can not read a mind or detect incorrect sweat patterns just by observation.

They are after all, just machines. Programmed and limited to their algorithms.
