We had a thunderstorm last night at 1 so loud, I got no sleep because of the thunder

It rained here at 1:30 am and woke me up. I was obviously not happy. Damn loud thunder, why does it always happen at night?

I live right near Albany. All the storms you get, I had them first.

How were they?

They were alright, no major damage, no loss of power (no loss of KMC lol) There were more severe ones to the NW, between here and Utica, with a possible tornado, yikes

I heard 'bout those. We got some really loud thunder and such, but no damage. A tree may have been hit the other night though.. who knows

i thought i just heard that it was a torado, small, but still, we don't get torandos that often. The worse one hit Stillwater and Mechanicsville, a short drive to the north of us.

At least it's not has bad is in the MW, already there'e been many storms, floods and torados and destruction

That's why we stay in the good ol' Northeast

The good ol' NE, the pu pu platter of the country. we get a little bit of everything from hot days, freezing days, blizzards, rainstroms, flood, hurricanes

Mm, and I don't plan on leaving. West can keep their cruddy weather and the south their warm weather, I'll vacation if I ever need to feel it

Haha, Koz, you guys are getting all the storms that have been plaguing me and the others that live in the Midwest for the past week or so...

Good old Brookfield, Illinois, where we've had nearly nonstop rain and nasty thunderstorms for the past week or so to the point that the Des Plaines River (which runs right by my house) is currenty under record flooding, the entire town of Gurnee (about an hour north) is under water, and we've been under a constant tornado watch for about two weeks, with several tornado warnings over the weekend. And the fact that last month there was a tornado outbreak, with the town of Utica, IL (right by where my aunt lives) being nearly totally destroyed. Lovely weather, eh?

...that was sarcasm, by the way.
