nazgul are great...


anyway the point of this thread is that i noticed something...


A wraith falls off its beast when the eagles attack it in ROTK at the gate...

and when they fly back to mount doom one of the beast' is riderless...because he fell off...

i didn't noticed that. once I get the DVD, i'll cjeck that out. interesting

and Nazgul do rock, esp at Pelennor Fields and when they dive down on Minas Tirith.

I have to check it out too!

I actually noticed this, and hoped that in Extended ROTK they had a shot where they showed the Wraith actually hitting the ground or something with the beast..but I doubt they will..

I also love that one shot at the end where the Nazgul gets NAILED with the flying piece of rock from Mount Doom. Such an awesome shot.

Sadly, when I watched the scene....it indeed looked like the Eagles were winning the battle...

u gotta say the Minas Tirith men were fighting good but if it wernt for the rohan riders Minas Tirith would of been defeated

so if aragorn said 'be gone you ghouls' ghoul=ghost
but in black speech gul means wraith

so he is saying be gone you wraiths

I love the Nazgul, Witchy being my favorite

they're cool but i don't like them that much i mena they are not my favourite but they're scary and very cool and they don't suck!

I only 'hate' Nazgul b/c they're evil and kill ppl, and the Witch King did destroy Anor and kill Theoden. Besides that, they cool to watch, esp at Minas Tirith where they dive on the city and casue mayhem.

even though in the book they stay out of range of the gondorian archers.
and the gondor catapults could not reach the orcs lines.

but hey when having an epic battle one tends not to stay within 100 miles of the book

I love the eagles, but even as I said before I still have great respect for the Nazgul,

hehe, I never saw the nazgul fall off the winged creature but loved when the smouldering ash hit them afterwards

Some of my favorite scenes contain the Nazgul, despite their evilness.

one of the greatest scenes of mine is in felloswhip of the ring when the Nazgul ride out from Minas Morgul in search of the shire

Last tiem I voiced my opinion however people wouldn't quit crying about it. Sorry, but it is my opinion. As far as how they look and what they can do, then yes, nazgul's rock.

LOL, I saw the Lord of the Rings animated again recently - I have to admit, the animation was pretty good but how things were y'know colored and drawn....wasn't to my taste.

Also another point...when on of the beasts' is flying back to the mountain...he dosn't have a rider....(as I stated before)...so why was he bothering to go to mount doom...? Are the beasts more intelligent than we think?... Or was Sauron simply forcing all the beasts' to go to Mt. Doom...?

When the eagles come, look for one to fight a Nazgul, the fight goes to the backscreen when he falls off. Get to that part an watch it in slow-mo. It's a little black dot.

I'm wondering, did the Nazgul always have their flying creatures, or did they rides their evil horses until the horses were killed (or were they)?

Umm I think that they had them...but you'll have to ask the Valie, I'm not sure

I'm pretty sure they stuck to the horses until they lost them.

in the films the nazgul were desguised as black riders on horses when they were destryoyed in the flood, the riders went to minas morgul? to go get their winged steeds...

in the books we know that the witchking once again rode a horse to meet gandalf...

And i must agree, the more i see them in the films, the more i love them, the witchking is suchhhh a badass in ROTK, hes freaking awesome, i would love to know how they do the loud..shrieking bone chilling screams for them, they give me chills, expecially when the witchking is doing it and its killing frodos ears, and then it gets higher and higher! LOVE IT!!!! NAZGUL NUMBER 1!!!

during the Minas Morgol scene in RotK, the Witch King's screech was so f*cken loud. Talk about surround sound
