Sovereignty: The Summarized Myths of Carnor Jax

by Lurik, (with additional EU and Trilogy info., also with info. from the Crimson Empire Handbook ?)

Nobody ever thought that an Empire controlled by crooked politicians could one day be ruled by a single soldier. Carnor Jax changed their minds.
Constantly hungry for more power; not unlike his predecessor, Palpatine, the Emperor of the Galactic Empire, and deviser of the New Order; and willing to go to any extent to get it, Jax easily filled the void left behind by Palpatine's ultimate death- a death he had brought about himself.
According to the official Imperial records, Carnor Jax became an Imperial Royal Guardsman of the Galactic Empire at the same time as Kir Kanos.
Although they both bore the same crimson uniform, Jax and Kanos were guided by very different goals: while Kanos lived only to serve his Emperor, Jax worked in the shadows to become a Dark Lord of the Sith, like his Master, Palpatine.
Yet, according to a more...unsavory source of information, it is said that Jax had begun his training much earlier than the time that Kir Kanos had started.

It seems that Carnor Jax was orphaned quite early in his life, at the very time just two years before the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn was killed. It is not known who his parents were, although it is said that Jax knew who his true parents were. Recent evidence points to the fact that they were hunted down, and murdered, by none less that the Jedi.
Two years later, during the year that the Jedi Qui-Gon Jinn died, the young Jax's foster parents, of sorts, gave him to none other, than the Jedi Order.
Jax, even at a young age was a wonder of the Force. He progressed with an almost supernatural pace, even, at one point, out mastering Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One of prophecy, later the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader.

Ten years past, and then began the year of the Clone Wars.
But only a few months before the beginning of the events that led up to the Clone Wars, Jax left the Order. He left, to be trained under what would become the Imperial Royal Guard.
Jax served under the Dark Jedi, and leader of the Royal Guard, Mohran Sihnn, a once pupil of Palpatine. Sihnn was also the Grand Master of the Sovereign Protectors of the New Order, and the leader of Palpatines Dark Side Adepts.
At the beginning of the Clone Wars, only the Sovereign Protectors knew of the New Order of Palpatine, chief among those, was Mohran Sihnn, and second in power, was Count Dooku, or Darth Tyrannus. Sihnn, was named in the Sithian tradition, Darth Volcan. Neither, should have received a Sithian Darth title, for neither were Sith. They were Dark Jedi, or Fallen Jedi.

Sihnn was killed by the Jedi Master Plo Koon later in the Clone Wars, on the planet of Korriban, in which Sihnn came close to killing Koon with the aide of a Terentatek. The only flaw in that plan was that the Terentatek knew that Sihnn was not true Sith, but Dark Jedi. And so, part way through the battle, the Terentatek turned on Sihnn, forcing him to kill it.

Once again, Jax was orphaned, of sorts, and he felt utterly grief stricken. Palpatine would use that horrible memory to fuel Jax's rage, his anger, that would make him a nearly unstoppable force.

Ten years after the Clone Wars ended, Carnor Jax and Kir Kanos officially entered the Royal Guard Academy on Yinchorr. Jax saw no need for himself to go to the academy, for he had already trained under first Sihnn, and then under Vader, and then under Palpatine himself.
Yet, Palpatine said that it was all part of his great, master plan-that eventually, he would understand.

During the years before the Battle of Yavin, whilst he was a Guardsmen of Palpatine, and actually in his service, Carnor Jax began to pave the way for his eventual rise to power, much as Palpatine did before him; by gaining political and military allies within the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Senate. He also secretly showed some of the Force abilities he learned from all his years of training.
It has been determined that Jax was indeed a Sovereign Protector, and that he was also the Senior Dark Side Adept.
