well,as the subject says...of all the anime mascots,which woud you want as a pet

i would either want Mokona from Rayearth(pu pu so cute)

umm..Alucard is a main caracter..not a mascot..a masoct is like Pikachu,Mokona,Riiyooki(Tenchi),any cute animal thing in an anime..ohh the tv headed robot is a masoct too(Furi Kuri)

I don't know if this counts, but I'd love to have Kirara from Inu Yasha. Of course, she's not a mascot, but can that still count?

"Kilala" is the pronunciation (is that too big a word for you?) that the English dub actors decided to take. The original Japanese name is KIRARA. How about you say it with me? KIRARA. There! It's not so hard! I suggest you know what you're talking about before you talk about it. It's perfectly fine if you want to pronounce it Kilala, but don't go saying that's how you're supposed to say it until you actually know.

InuYasha is a main character. A main character cannot be a mascot. If you want to claim InuYasha as, say, a pet, that's fine. But he's not a mascot. Go create your own "which anime character do you want as a pet" thread.

Actually, one can be. Inu Yasha isn't, of course. But Mario is Nintendo's mascot, and Sonic is Sega's mascot, and they're both the main characters of a variety of things, from movies to comic book series.

I don't think you are actually thinking of mascots, because a mascot is something that represents a group, i.e. a sports team mascot can be a tree, or a color, not necessarily an animal. Inuyasha would actually represent the anime Inuyasha, meaning he IS the mascot.
