Well, whenever I open my computer this thing pops up (screenshot below) and I don't know what it is, or why it started appearing all the time (it also pops up when I'm doing random things, like using MSN or listening to music no expression )
I just keep hitting ok all the time messed
Any ideas? confused

Oh, I wanna ask something else as well. When I open IE (Internet Explorer), instead my home page to appear (Yahoo), I am forwarded to it (yahoo I mean) through another website, searchweb2.com, and the link is appeared as "http://www.searchweb2.com/passthrough/index.html?http://www.yahoo.com" blink And after a while, meaning after I use IE a couple of times, the homepage changes by itself to www.searchweb2.com mad
I've changed homepage back to yahoo noumerous times, yet it keeps appearing like that sad And I've done virus scans yes
ok, it might be silly after all, but I dunno what to do stick out tongue

The actulice thingy could be fixed by this:
http://www.ozzu.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13
Although I'm not sure. It worked when they kept poping up for me, but that was a built in Windows XP thing. All I can say is try it and see.

yerssot
do this evy:

1) Go to "start"
2) Click "run"
3) Type in "msconfig"
4) Click "OK"
5) Click on "Startup" tab
6) Find "pg4ds32m" in the list
7) Uncheck its box
8) Restart your computer
9) Smile

yerssot
oh and do a spyware check

yerssot
*taking it to private chat*

Evy_O
Ok so I tried to do both stick out tongue

SpikeSpiegel> I can't figure out how to do that last command, the "Select Disable or Manual in the Startup Type scroll bar" thingy messed

and I can't find pg4ds32m anywhere...

*sigh*

yerssot
well, talking to erin, she had it and solved it, so we're getting there big grin

SpikeSpiegel
I think it's this bit:

yerssot
from what I heard it's a trojan

SpikeSpiegel
Probably, mine just sorts out things that look very similar to those pop up boxes on windows XP computers.

yerssot
well, with security task manager it should be fixed ... they say

Evy_O
well I did that SS, thanks, let's see if it works big grin
trying to do the other one too, thanks yerss as well big grin

yerssot

Evy_O
I think it worked clap

so, any suggestions about the other thing would be welcomed as well happy

yerssot
you still have to delete it, you just disabled it now

oh and do run an updated spybot search

Evy_O
yes I'll delete it later today

no cause last time I did that I had a problem, I think I've told you messed

yerssot
