John Barry = James Bond? There's only one composer for the Bond films and that's JB. Marvin and the gang have had their six but, for classic memorable tunes, nobody does it better than JB. You can stuff the GARBAGE and the other runners in that get by on a WINGS and a prayer...

Barry delivered a mood for all seasons...his work on the sequence where Bond and Irma Bunt are "elevated" to the Piz Gloria is unforgettable...the piece accompanying Bond taking on Zorin atop the Golden Gate brilliant...and Bassey belting out the title for MOONRAKER is the most underrated signature tune of the entire series...

His OHMSS title tune is not alone now regarded as one of the best of the series but is now getting more worldly renowned as one of the best pieces of title film music...EVER.

Kudos, JB! You do your initials proud!!!
