It's weird... For a while when I was in middle school I always wrote the date backwards (day/month instead of month/day) because I was in this crappy "French Immersion" thing where they make all the little kids speak French and learn math and science in French... I got out of it after 5th grade but it had a damaging impact psyche

I look for the month. I mean, you categorize days INSIDE months. Duh.

I have been doing Month/Day/Year since I was knee-high to a grasshopper.

It is imperative that I date my paperwork at... work... Month/Day/Year.

But most people can remember what month it is The day is what one needs to find out most importantly

Well, I usually keep all my stuff for years... So I must know what month it is from first.

But you also categorize months into years. Also with the UK method it's the 11th of the 6th of the year 2004, so it's in order to say it.
