I just thought I would consolidate our rules so that everybody knows them...



1. There will be NO Actor-bashing. And I MEAN none.

2. Don't start RPs here, my lambs, ask Ush if you can put them in the Unhosted RP Forum

3. Don't start Pointless Threads. If you have a question, or want to introduce yourself, there are other forums for that.

4. Respect other people's opinions even if you don't agree.

5. Be polite and no member-bashing.

6. Please stop asking for the stars personal e-mail addresses. They have fan-mail addresses on the official website. It is very unlikely anybody knows their personal address, and Emma/Dan/etc would not appreciate an influx of identical messages saying "I love you"/"I hate you"

PLEASE, only post here if you have a suggestion on how to improve the Forum... If you post randomly or pointlessly, I will delete your posts.

Since it's almost June 4th, the amount of new guys joining will surely increase. For the most part, they'll be bringing good ideas. However, there will be those who just want attention by saying "HP Sucks" ect. I know that we all want to bash those newbies, but remember, we shouldn't stoop to their level. We've got to be nice to our new members and hopefully, that will deter them from acting noobish

if they do, we can just ignore them and close down whatever threads they have started that says that.

Anything else, unrelated to hp, concerning the actors, belong in the Celebrity forum
Otherwise, this forum is basically for the hp Movies and Books, only to a certain extent is it about the actors

Phoe's authorisation has been granted for this thread Remember Phoe and airangel were planning on doing some "spring cleaning" meaning that they were going to go through the entire forum and merge/close/etc threads which are pointless/out-dated/duplicates/etc... but they're gonna start in June or July, as you all know
So I volunteered to help out from now, since there's gonna be waay too much work for them to do, when they come back in June.. because more and more threads continue cluttering the forum each day. I can't take all the credit for this-- AGENT ELROND helped out, as well

So, I said to Phoe, I'd make this thread with all the threads and suggestions, then PM this link to her... for alot of reasons this would be better that PMing her the suggestions and threads straightforward...

I noticed there's been a lot of clean-up in the Harry Potter forum lately. It looks good so far, except for one thing: your clean-ups need cleaning up.

The closed/locked threads are flooding the forum, and it's annoying the hell out of me (and everyone else for that matter). If you can, please delete these locked threads or put them in an archive forum instead. I personally think we don't need them anymore. As of now, it's VERY hard to look for interesting threads/topics with these closed ones flooding around. Mods., if you could, please remove them? That way, you don't need to *bump* an interesting forgotten thread. We could find them ourselves. We just need the closed threads out of the way.


I hope you clean up after your clean-ups (if you know what I mean)...

Please, before starting a new thread, search to see if a topic has already been discussed. It saves us having to report these threads to mods, who, in turn have to sift through the forum to find threads to close/merge/etc..
Please do not start any threads relating to "I hate Harry Potter". This is taking into consideration the fact that this the Harry Potter forum, and topics as such, only lead to never-ending arguements, and flaming of each others' opinions. And, as stated by the mods-- absolutely NO member bashing is allowed. However, mature arguements are okay, since everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion-- therefore, if you have a valid discussion point, or view, it makes for less "flaming" if you rephrase the post a little more discussion-like, and open-minded.

The Official KMC Rules state that there should be no religious discussions on the forum, as well as NO spamming. Spam would be considered advertising a site of personal interest, or that is of no relation to the forum topic.

That's just my say on the forum!

Sorry guys but I am going to be leaving KMC. I will be checking in once in awhile but I have a lot of things to do and no extra time these days and in the future it doesn't look like I will have the time to be a mod either.

I am really trying to get a career outside of the military. My husband and I are looking into moving to California next year. He's going to join the LAPD and I am going to pursue Journalism/Advertising and all my extra time will be going into news stories and advertising ideas (whichever road I choose between the jobs)
